Nice Place BUT

Nice park, clean bathrooms/ showers etc. we stayed in early September and the morning temps were in the low 40s. The bathrooms/ showers had exhaust fans blowing non stop and a window open with a sign that said don’t close. So it was essentially 40 degrees in the shower rooms. When we commented about the temp, we were told “that’s the way it has to be”. We all know that’s BS, and management is either ignorant or lazy. Bottom line, nice park, great location, clean bathrooms and showers but if it’s cool outside, the showers will be cold. Water is hot but the bathrooms are cold. Try Riverview, we enjoyed it there!

Best RV Park!!

Had a great stay at this RV Park! Very clean showers and washrooms. The laundry facilities are fabulous. Free coffee every morning. We had a site right next to the river (E16 & F17) which was spectacular. This is one of the best parks we stayed at on our trip through Alaska. Goodsam discount. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great Campground

Nicely spaced sites with some trees between you and your neighbor. Majority of the sites are pull through. Riverboat tour was excellent, so was the Gold Dredge #8 tour. Recommended by locals. They take Good Sam.

Don’t Stay Here

Unless you like waiting big money. Try the River view instead. These people running the place don’t care to address the issues. Like the urinals leaking on the floor, the soap dispensers that are empty and broken. The homeless people coming in the bathroom. The grass that apparently is an ongoing issue. Not mowed and high around the posts trees and other things usually addressed by landscapers. Way too many people in a given space for $54 . The shuttle they claim they have is to a very costly $62 a person sham river boat ride. Took us 1/2 mile down the river to a cheesy fake village and a prop pilot flys up and lands for the crowd. Don’t waste your money doing that. See a museum or talk to the locals. Been to much better campgrounds for less then half the cost.

Would Stay Again

Staff was super. We had a full hook up spot with plenty of room for our truck too. All services. Bathrooms were good and clean. Big laundry room. It was not crowded so we had no problem with space or putting our awning out. Office was gift shop with nice things. All kinds if brochures. Right by the river. Hubby got his license and fished while we were there a couple times. No internet connection at all. We did not hook up cable. Tv stations were ok. My only complaint was they had not mowed the grass yet snd i didn't feel comfortable sitting outside in the tall grass. No worries Fairbanks had lots to do.

Nice pk. Big laundry room, had all services, tv sucked, Wi-Fi poor. Would stay again.

Overpriced And Over-reviewed

Paid $59 for a small space with uphill path to the sewer. After a long day of travel I needed ice for a refreshment. I got set up and went to the office/store for ice. " Sorry, we don't have ice this year. You can go to Fred Meyers" (6 blocks away). At these prices they should be able to afford a freezer to sell ice. Would not recommend this place

Did not enjoy this park at all. The spaces we're so small it was difficult to park. The personnel was rude. I waited in line for a purchase for a good 5 minutes while the clerk had a nice personal conversation with the person in front of me. Vifi wasn't working, cable barely got reception.

Nice park. Very clean, good size lots and all services. Huge laundry and nice gift shop. Right on the river. Only drawback is Highway noise Would definitely recommend this park
