Campground reopening In June. Will post review when go if nobody else does.
Update July 18, 2021
Stayed 3 nights here. Updated campground is now a hidden gem (thank you to all the volunteers). Granted there is not that much hiking, but campground is terrific. Level concrete pads, good spacing, and creekside even with sewer - but there really are no bad spots. No TV or cell reception, but great free WiFi. Very small campground so quiet and tranquil.

New Campground!
We spent 2 nights at BP this weekend and had a great time. This was our 1st ever camping trip (travel trailer). Being newbies, we were nervous about everything! The drive in, though having a steep grade and sharp S curves, wasn't bad. BUT, we came in from the north (Section) as opposed to the south (Grove Oak). The south side is definitely more difficult. We were able to snag one of the 4 pull-thru slots, which eased our newbie nerves. However, all of the pads looked roomy and were on the diagonal, so we feel we could have handled any of them. The bathrooms were decent and clean. Didnt shower there but wouldnt have hesitated to. Wi-fi worked well, though a bit overloaded in the heat of the day. The park had great shade (no cell service). I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as there isnt a lot to do. There are beautiful views, but only a few short trails. No pool or water. But 5 stars for sure if you want a quiet shady place to relax or a good ORV spot. It was a great 1st experience for us!
