This campground is in a good location on a nice lake. But a growing trend at COE sites has led to overcrowding, any wide spot in the road has become a campsite. Water supplies are now in a campsite and with no hose access. Its a shame.

Campground

We love this campground. It's a stunning lake and a nice beach area to swim. There is so much for our outdoor kid to do. It's hard to get a campsite during season but if you can its well worth the wait! We just love it!!!

Battle Run is a fantastic campground but the location shown on the map is off by several miles. It is actually on Rt 129 near Summersville Lake Retreat and is right by the water. If you zoom in on the map it will show up.

We love this campground,its safe for the kids to ride bicycles or to play on the playground - basketball court. Great lake for swimming or boating.
