We stopped at the ranger station and got advised to come here. It is a long way up a gravel road but totally worth it. We picked a site that was level, had enough parking for at least 2 rvs and was on the banks of the humptulips river. There was only one other site occupied in beautiful weather in july. The campground is in a remnant stand of true old growth and is a stopover on a horse trail so there is hiking. My wifes journal says "one of most pleasant spots we've ever seen
