Old Growth Forest Camping
We stayed here the 1st day the park was open in 2019,and again in July 2021. Very clean, flush toilets, no showers, bear proof garbage cans, hiking trails, paved level sites, very private in A loop, not as private in other loops, a nice little walk to the company town of Newhalem. Super quiet even during the day. Reservations required in summer, weekends especially. Dump station is permanently closed.

Very nice place. Clean restrooms, friendly park ranger. No problems. Would love to go back.

I'm a DAV and my grandkids, daughter, wife and I camped at N none itewhalem creek last summer. When I got up the next morning my new truck had been keyed. I lived in Newhalem and Diablo from 1946 to 1964 and would never dreamed this would happen.

Excellent Campground
We camped here a couple nights during the week of the 4th of July. It's a large and busy campground that was surprisingly very nice. There was decent privacy between drive in sites, plenty of room for RVs, a great hike in place for tent camping with lots of space between sites, nice bathrooms, water, lots of hiking trails, and good shade. There's even a place for RVs to dump sewage and fill up the water tank. No hook-ups, though.

Beautiful Campground
Stay in Aug 2017, in the A loop. Most sites were spacious, flat and shady. Each site had a tent pad, fire ring, table. Bathrooms were large with only cold water, no showers, nearest showers in Marblemount at Glacier Peak Resort for under $3. Wish they'd unlock the odors for the dishwater disposal sinks so people don't do their dishes by the water fountains. Loop B had fire damage near sites 40-50, so not as pretty or as flat.
