Full Hookups, But Cash-only
We stayed at Alpine Rv Park because all of the Forest Service campgrounds were full, and because they were closest to Newhalem and they had full hookups. We had no trouble finding it and the host immediately came out to meet us as we pulled in. She was friendly and helpful and guided us into our spot. Rv park camping isn't our favorite because of the lack of privacy between sites and this was pretty much the same....a bunch of rv's all lined up in a row. Also none of the sites are paved although they were relatively level. The tent sites had a bit more privacy with trees. The campground filled up on the weekend but was quiet. Overall it was fine for an rv park.

Loved this little campground. Close to Cascade N. P. It has full hookups if you want something more than the park campgrounds offer.

Beautiful Views!
The host is super friendly, and she’s very thorough with checking the cleanliness of the place; the facilities building itself could use some fixing up/ painting, but at least it’s clean. They only charge $30/ night for full hookups, shower, etc. Coin op. laundry $1.50/ each machine. There’s some road noise, but not bad. Otherwise peaceful. Fully surrounded by mountain views!

Country Camping
Long grassy field, with 30 amp power. Plenty of room for big rigs. Some full timers but they were very friendly. Quiet besides road noise. We enjoyed.
