We parked in the RV loop (T6) because it was all that was left. The area was a few steps up from an RV park but didn’t feel like normal camping. Most of the spots are wide open with little privacy. It did have all of the hookups which was nice when our grey water tank was full halfway through. We’d probably stay here again but in the other section. Most of it seemed a bit tight for a 27’ trailer but there were a few that would be good. It’s also about an hr minimum to get to the mountain so if that is your main goal I’d find a closer campground.

Seen better days
A couple years ago, we liked camping here before we'd go to Mt Saint Helens. But the last time we drove through, it looked like a homeless camp. Many of the camping areas in the winter are closed off. We haven't been back since. We hope they can get things better in control.

Nice Location
Nice area, reasonably priced, older but well maintained and showers & facilities worked fine. Easy access to many activities and great exposure to woods and info about Mt. StHelens. Lots to do, fun to explore.

Needs Updating
Nice access to St. Helens. Needs new electrical hook up boxes because They are falling apart. Some RV sites are hard to level because of the slope. Very nice secluded tent sites.
