Great Place To Stay

Many spots available. Someone took ours and hid our chairs. Talked to them and decided just easier to go down a little ways and get another. 7 minutes from Bryce Canyons main gate. It’s a gem. Did I say it was free.

Nice Boondock

The gravel road in was nicely graded. It was a little difficult finding a spot fairly level. There were quite a few people here. Lots of space here. They graded a small 6 inch ditch on the sides of the road that was a little difficult for our larger class C RV with not great ground clearance. We drove a bit farther and found a nice easy spot. Beautiful views. A few ATV occasions passed by but not so much after dark.

Tom Best Road

Just west of Red Canyon on the way to Bryce is part of Dixie National Forest where you can dry camp in some very scenic sites. There is no charge and you can stay for up to 16 days. There are two major loops on the right side of Tom Best road with other roads to camp inside the loops and across the main road. On the right side I was able to park a fifth wheel with no problems. Quiet, private and in among the pines. Great place to dry camp.

Boondocks

The are was empty, a few sparse campers. The weather is 90 in the afternoon, 45 at night. Low road noise. Cattle in the area, close to Bryce NP

Dry Camping

This is dry camping at it's best. All kinds of camp spots down Tom's best road. Close to Bryce Cannon and driving distance to Zion Cannon. Little town up the road has grocerys and fuel, nice little town.
