Great RV on East side of Fredericksburg. Great meet at gate and right to lot. Nice spot. New hookups and we’ll laid out landscaping.

Awesome Park

Park is at the perfect location in heart of Hill Country Wineries. Staff is friendly and helpful! The park has security gates. Great place to get away for a while.

Nice park! Site was roomy and shaded. All sites have a picnic table. Plenty of room for our 37’ with 3 slides. Nice dog park with shade and additional grassy area for dogs to walk. Great location for shopping, wineries and Luckenbach. There was some road noise from the busy highways and roosters on site started crowing early. However, we would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing

Very nice staff on the phone and in person. Helped with reservation, asked about shade, access, etc instead of just assigning any site. Escorted us to the site, talked about the area, answered questions on activities. Great place to stay and enjoy a night or two away from home, the Hill Country, and Wine Country. Definitely will be back!

This not a KOA anymore, it is called BENDING OAKS RV RESORT and is privately owned. The owners are doing electrical upgrades to some of the sites, but we heard little construction noise on the weekdays that work was being done. We spent 4 nights and really enjoyed the staff and our stay. It is an adult only facility, so if you have young kids, this is not for you. The site that we had ( and a lot more) was big enough for our 42’ coach with tow. Plenty of room between sites and a lot had mature trees for shade. The bathhouse was clean and up to date, the pool was enjoyable, nice dog park, I didn’t get to see the laundry facility. It is located east of Fredericksburg (lots of shopping, restaurants, beer gardens, Walmart), just down the road from Luckenbach, and amongst tons of wineries, and not far from LBJ Ranch. We had a flat on the coach the last morning, Bruce ( I believe the owner) was very nice and allowed us to stay on Electric until the repair was made. We will return. Thanks

not worth the premium $

$59 for a nice enough site that provides 20/30/50 amps, water with good pressure & sewer. WiFi = nope Cable TV = claims 24 ch... nope ...but does provide 22 fuzzy analog channels. Rules = you bet & lots of them!! Telephone you before your arrival for a 10min review of them all. an ok campground but with no amenities (pool, play area & restrooms because of covid-19) the price should reflect that. The town of FBG a very nice place to visit & most people took covid mask wearing seriously!

Ok But Not Great

Sites hard to accommodate opposing slides. WiFi is a joke, not even usable. Park is well maintained.

Nice Park

Sites and park are well maintained. Location is convenient to FBG and Luckenbach. Handy convenience store next door. Office under going remodeling. Very low water pressure. Fairly easy to drive our 36ft 5th in and out, but not overly spacious. Mature oaks throughout the park created great shade.

Clean park. Owners nice. Pool closed earlier than we wished. Sites are okay but lots of trees and we had to pull up farther than normal to accommodate our deep slide but it worked. We would stay again.

Camper

Stayed here owners do not want any children in park. Want to make it a adult only Park. Think more of the cats and chickens then they do people.

The location on the map is wrong. KOA is farther East on 290.
