Nice!!!
Office personnel were very polite, friendly and helpful both with the RV park and attractions in town. Newly renovated bathrooms and laundry room. Gave us a site in the shade. The swimming pool is awesome! We would recommend this park and come back again.

Full Timer
We were rather disappointed in this “resort”. Rather than a “resort” we found it to be an aging, somewhat rundown park. There are lots of permanent or long term residents and they occupy the best sites. Travelers are assigned the spots in a large gravel parking lot and the sites are very close together. The pool is large but the hot tub is small (4 person max). This site we were in was quite level but difficult to back in a 40’ bus. This was the highest price place we have stayed to date. Not a total washout but definitely not worth $65 a night

Pros: close to downtown, full hookups, wifi worked, but Cable tv didn’t. Bathrooms were OK and mostly clean. Huge swimming pool with nice clean water.
Cons, no trees at many of the sites. Ours was one of those. Our site was also near the highway, with lots of highway noise. There was also construction going on within a few yards of us that was noisy until about 5:00.

Great Park
We just returned from a weekend at Oakwood RV Park. Granted, the current virus situation meant a quiet park, but we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and very welcoming. Our sites were under the trees, had a great fire pit and a picnic table. The Park is clean and the site was very nice. They even supplied firewood. Trash is picked up at the site. The location is great for exploring the area and is close to the downtown area, which was obviously closed. We debated several parks I. The area and are certainly glad we chose this one!

Ok
Gravel, hardly any grass, narrow sites, plus your neighbors sewer is right on your patio. Full timers there. Showers/bath facilities are old as hell and as hot as hell. They have AC but don’t run them. First time we used our coach shower because the bathrooms were that bad. Close to town, very nice hosts but I would go elsewhere on my next visit to FBG. Also watch walking your dogs, stickers
everywhere.

Disappointed
Spots are very narrow and close together. You don’t get the spot you pick out on-line. Close to Fredericksburg, but not a park I would stay at again.
The super premium sites that overlook a pod, look straight onto a road and gas station. Do not pay extra for these sites.

Great Location
Easy access. Great location to everything Fredericksburg and the Texas hill country. Great group of work campers; the place was spotless. Putting green is a joke and half of the washers and dryers didn't work, but al else in fine working order. Stayed 3 nights on our way west.

Nice Place!
Lovely place! We arrived late in the afternoon after the offices have closed but their check in process was super easy. Clean bathrooms and showers. My only complaint was I couldn’t get an after hours number. The campers near us were up all night shouting and carrying on and there was no one to
call to enforce the quiet hours rules.

Nice Place!
Surprisingly quiet, about 1/2 transients and 1/2 longer term guests. Huge pool (open in Jan!), decent sized sites. Spotless restrooms and other common facilities (laundry etc).
Friendly staff with deep knowledge and pride about the area. We were presented with a comprehensive package of literature about the area at check-in, not just the usual campground map. Not an inexpensive place to stay but a good value considering everything. Small upcharge ($3) for our "premium" site was well worth the modest additional cost. We will be back!

Nice Place
Our very first trip in on 5er. The two ladies at the front desk were very friendly and wealth of knowledge about the Fredericksburg area. Park was very clean. The couple next to us had a mishap backing their RV into the spot. But the maintenance men were on top of it. Had the pipe fixed in no time! Very impressed. Pool is very big and very clean. Great dog area. Close to HEB and Walmart. Over all had a great time. 10/20/2017

Nice park but sites are very close in the angled spots.
