Been Sold
Campground has been sold. All permanent residences being removed by October 1st. Plans are to rebuild as an upscale ($$$) RV Park. The creek needs a retaining wall to prevent flooding. Cabins are a disaster; probably salvageable but have no plumbing currently.

Great Experience
Great spot to stop for the night! I car-camped here March 2018 with my boyfriend one night and we were able to call either that day or the day before for a spot. Able to settle in an RV spot but pay tent rate as we weren’t using any amenities. Had nice bathrooms and a rec room and dog area. The campground and sites aren’t in a secluded area- it’s right near a very busy main road, but it was displaced enough that it was quiet enough and you felt like you weren’t in the middle of everything. That said, there is a ton to do in the area and it’s a great spot for being near the national park or for all the attractions in the area.

CRAP
Dump of a campground. No maintenance has been done in years, bathhouse from the 60's, dead trees everywhere ready to fall on your unit. Sites are not level or maintained, and multiple electrical issues were complained by other campers.

Nice Stay
Friendly people and a nice lot
Good wifi and cable tv
We were going to stay a week but extended for a few more days we liked it so much in this area
Tons of things to do and see and the trolley picks up at the gate so you do not have to use your car to get in town or to Gatlinberg
We will stay here again when we are back this way
They do accept Passport America so that really helps out with the cost
