This is a beautiful campground in a good location. Sadly, we have never seen such rude management in our 36 years of camping all over the country and in Canada as the people that run this place. We arrived 50 minutes before check-in and they made us wait in the boat dock parking lot until check in time. We would understand if they had been busy or crowded. The place was empty. We decided to dump our tanks while waiting. They came over and made us leave because it was before check in. The reason they gave us that we had to wait was because they needed the two hours between check out and check in to clean the campsite, understandably. When we arrived at our site there was trash in the fire pit and the picnic table was dirty. We had friends come over to eat dinner with us. They charged them $11.22 to come in. They parked in a parking space by the bathroom. The management told our grandson that if they didn’t move the truck it would be towed. Not worth the $164 for 3 nights and no sewer.

Will Definately Come Back.
Very nice and clean TVA Campground. Beautiful pull thru sites right on the lake. Campground hosts and workers very friendly. Only stopped for one night on the way to Augusta ,GA but would have no problem spending a week or two here.

Too Many Trees In The Way
Didn't make it to the park - Normandy road too overgrown.
