Excellent
Passed thru in early May, stayed 1 night. Many large trees, pads are separated enough to allow privacy; much better than most RV campgrounds. Quiet, nice hiking trails, single dump station on the way out. Pads are paved, mostly level. Absolutely 5 star site, would stay here again.

Not very big campground, came in on sat, Was full, by mon empty maybe 5 campers. No sewer, elec/water only, all sites paved, check out 12:00 check in 2:00 enforced. Have not seen a camp host anywhere nor a ranger. One bath room (men’s) w/2 stalls, also new shower house w/2 showers 3 stalls. No wifi, or tv, cell phone fair (2 bars). Hiking trails beautiful, lots water falls. Approx 10 min to grocery store

Squeeze
Old Stone Fort camp sites are a tight squeeze. Our 5th wheel is only 28th long. Problem comes in when site pads are only as wide as the camper. When you have opposing slides, they will hang over the dirt/mud on either side. This campground is very sad when it rains. Very muddy. All sites need gravel around the site pads so you don't have to walk around in the mud after a rain. Dump station could be upgraded. Staff is friendly, bath houses are newer and kept clean. If rain is in the forcast, probably not stay here.

Beautiful Forested Camping
We arrived via the directions on the ParkAdvisor app, down Country Club Rd. which was the right place for RV camping. But, that is not where you go to sign up for the site if you don’t have reservations. Updated phone #. We do not usually know how far we’ll drive so, yup, no reservation. Sign at what is actually the back entrance said if no tag in front of a site, park there (it was Monday nite) and ranger will collect in the evening or go to the Museum office at 8am. Snafu!! when we were in a site, the office sold it too. So I’d suggest making reservations. Super professional park ranger, Eric, came by and kept us in the spot and got a great spot for the other folks.
The site: gravel, slightly unlevel, and they are Big nice spots. There are some placed backwards for a one way road, making backing in a multiple-point turn. Worth the effort!! Newly remodeled bathrooms. Clean. Quiet. Great spot!!

Nice Park, Site Was Tight
Loved the park, but site 34 was tight and hard to park a 34 ft travel trailor. Trees next to site, and where truck needed to turn. Took 20+ minutes to park it.
Many other sites would have been easier, but loved it once parked. Will be back for sure. On another site.

Adaquate Overnight
Great little park for an overnight. Not sure if I would want to stay a long time there.
As others said it is pretty tight quarters to back in. A 35-40 foot unit might have issues. Nicely wooded and plenty of room in each site. Beware some of the electric posts are on the wrong side of most campers plugins. Bring an extension. They will be upgrading electric this spring but not sure what that means. Also hard to use a portable surge protector as the plug in the box does not have much space below it. Could barely get my electrical cord plugged in. Water is on the correct side.

Nice Stay
My only complaint would be the power problems at our first site. We had the handicap site but the power would drop to 90 volts. I checked other sites with my tester and found one with steady current. We enjoyed our stay but will not no bathroom upgrade has been done as of yet. No TV or wifi but did not come for this, enjoyed the many trails.

Quiet Park
Love this park. My go to when I need to get away for the weekend. Yep.. No WiFi..Hardly any TV reception..Verizon service works fine. Sites are a bit narrow but there is a good distance between each. The sites on the outside of the three driving loops all back up to the river, so they have great views. There is also plenty of room on most sites for tents as well.

Update
Would like to add after our stay the State Park informed us that they are planning to build new bathhouse in Spring 2019.

Nice Park
All other reviews accurate. Some sites have limited TV, ours had none and 0 cell service on ATT. Nice to disconnect from world. Trails from museum short but did have many beautiful waterfalls. Only complaints were sites can hold some water if rain and yes the bathhouse needs updating (but were adequate). Will return some day, but still have many more parks to do.

Jaw dropping Views
My very first campsite experience with my RV. I brought my kids and dogs. We all loved the hiking and getting in the water. It is gorgeous.

Very Nice
Older facilities but decently maintained. Not a whole lot of "manufactured" activities, but some of the prettiest hikes and waterfalls you'll encounter.
Large social/campfire areas behind most sites, lots of room for an evening gathering!
Do make sure your rig clears the 13' bridge coming in, and call to check weight limits.
