Crazy Fun Time!!!! Great Tubing

Ok! Dry camping!! But well worth it! If you go here and tube down Deep Creek you And the kids will love it!!! This is a safe activity. I started camping here in 1956 with my parents. Road from Charleston in a pickup. Camped in army surplus tents and cooked on a open fire! Have been back many times. Went back last year with extended family. There were 12 all together. Slept in tents. Son took 4 year old down creek tubing. Kids and adults love it! Wife and I went back in July 2019. We are 62 and 72! Went down river on a tube. That make over 60 years. Go for it you will love it !Cold water and a toilet. There are hot showers close by though. PS it is not a matter as to if it is going to rain!! It is!!! Take tarp for covering tents. If you cannot camp rent a cabin for between 70- 150 at Deep Creek Tube Center and camp ground and they have hot showers.

No Electric Hook Ups

Deceptive. This campground is dry camp only. It has a dump station with water to fill. It has 92 primitive sites. The campground outside the park has water and electricity yet looks not so nice on the drive by.

Camping In the NP

If you camp in the national park it is dry camping only. The hookups apply only to the tubing center just outside the park. Not sure how much they charge per night. There is a dump station in the NP.
