Awesome
This campground is huge. Some sites are full hookups and some electric and water. There are several loops, so if you want quick access to the beach, there are sites close enough for a short walk. Bathrooms and laundry are very clean. The store is convenient and the staff is very friendly. The state park is close to Myrtle beach happenings. We loved it so much we plan to be back next year.

Nice Campgrounds
This is in the middle of myrtle beach. Cons the sites are tight together and the nearby airport causes some noise. Pros it has a great beach front and fishing pier friendly staff and park rangers clean restrooms and good showers. Not far from all the main attractions around myrtle beach area. We had a great time and would definitely recomend this campgrounds.

In The Middle Of Myrtle Beach Action
Well kept state park campground with a multitude of activities and marvelous location. Large forested area with expansive beach, excellent fishing and recreation pier, stores, cabins, picnic shelters, boardwalks and biking, nature center, surf fishing, power and water hookups, all just minutes from the new Market Commons development, restaurant row and downtown boardwalk. Minor negatives: Some sites may be a little crowded, so choose carefully. Nearby airport does create some noise. Bathhouses not all air conditioned. Heavy rain can cause standing water puddles in sites.
Overall, this park offers tons of opportunities for camping fun along this popular beach, perfect for swimming, sunning, wading and shell collecting.
