Off Season Heaven

Stayed here for a week during winter off season. Very quite and payed back, I imagine the place is hoppin In the regular season. Campground is very clean, everything you need is here laundry, restaurant, game room rec center, rv parts, golf cart rentals, coffee shop,grocery store. Wow

Typical Myrtle Beach

Stayed here for the first time and overall it’s a nice park but wouldn’t want to be there in prime season. Choice of sites with or without concrete pads but not much in the way of grass if your not into sand. Park has lots of rules but don’t appear to enforce them especially the speed limits. Park facilities where very nice and very well kept. Wifi like most other parks is free but far from useful. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. To us it’s an off season place to stay if we are traveling through the area.

Summer

Summer at Ocean Lakes can be a trying experience. We had stayed at Ocean Lake close to 100 days at Ocean Lakes over the years, but never between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Wow, it’s crazy. If you have Children between 13-18 it has them written all over it. Ocean Lakes is an awesome place. Best experienced during the off season.

Great Campground

Huge campground and it’s packed out in the summer but we love it. We take our battery powered golfcart but they also have them for rent. Water park, store, grill, arcade. No fire rings but you can bring your own. Concrete and sand sites. Good security. Family campground

Huge Park

This is more of a town within itself. Very clean and well maintained with ever service you could possibly need. They allow NO motorcycles or gas powered golf carts.

The Best!!

The best camp ground ever! Beautiful and clean everything you need is right there. Very nice staff. This is the only camp I will ever stay at while at the beach.

Great For Kids - Not For Us

Huge campground. Great kid amenities. Close to ocean. Sites are pull thru but very close together. If your looking for wide open spaces ... don’t come here. The access roads to the sites are insanely narrow. Width of our pull in access road= 11’2”. Width of our pull out access road= 10’1”. This is really just a beachfront warehouse.

AMAZING CAMP GROUND!! It is its own city. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Sites are great. WIFI is good. Everything you need is there and if they don't have what your looking for Camping World and Walmart are just down the road. If you don't like crowded or busy campgrounds though, this is not the one for you. The golf carts can be overwhelming and at times aggravating. They do have security that tries to police this but with so many campers...

Friendly and courteous staff asked all of our questions. Nice concrete pads have services that even comes to your campsite. They moved our 5th wheel even when we couldn't back underneath it.
