Nice campground. Camped there over 50 yr ago with family & friends. Now that we are retired we still go back. Just a plain & simple campground. Just electric provided. On the one side of the camping loop you back in next to a stream & can hear the water flowing. Very peaceful.
The swimming hole as primitive as you can get. It was built in the 1930's I believe by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC). The stream was dammed up with huge cut stones. It is a work of art. The water is cold cause it is just a mountain stream. The place is nearly primitive & beautiful.
The shower house is adequate, cool & invigorating inside. U don't spend much time in there.
If u like nearly primitive camping u will like the place. It is laid back & quiet. We luv it there. Try it, u'll like it.
