Bare Minimum Park
We drove all the way out to this park just to drive directly back out. There are not many sites, maybe 20? And they are right on top of each other. There is no privacy what so ever and you can almost touch your neighbor from inside your rv. It is not "river bank side" as the pictures may suggest. There was also only one dump station that i believe you had to pay separate for. Lastly, the whole park seemed to be full with full time residents. There was one slip available in the dead of winter.

Great Hosts and Space
We stayed at this campground over the past weekend. We had a great time. The camp hosts Melinda & Adam were wonderful...making sure everything was ok. Our space was very spacious with plenty of room for our 5th wheel and 2 tents. Highly recommend this city park as a place to stay. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this park and we will definitely return.

Basically a park with hookups
This is a no frills city park that while not offering the amenities of some larger parks, is clean and in a good location. Park hosts were very welcoming and friendly and keep the grounds in very good condition. The Nehalem River runs through the park, there is a nice playground for kids, and the Banks-Vernonia trail ends at the park offering excellent biking or walking opportunities. Vernonia's main street is only a block or so away and has several dining options, plus a grocery store, hardware store, etc.
Nothing fancy, but a nice place to spend a night or two.
Stayed in a 25 foot motor home.
