This Is Going To Be A Fair Review
Today is 9/19/2019. We arrived at 5:10 pm yesterday afternoon. The park office was closed, so we grabbed a park map. On back of the map it listed the multiple rv campgrounds, and which were FCFS. We set up in Acorn 3, listed FCFS. This morning, when we went to the office to pay for our stay. When we got to the office the lady at the desk was not truly welcoming nor polite in letting us know that Acorn campground is now full reservation. I had tried to call multiple times prior to our stay to verify information before arriving, never was able to get through on the phone. Nowhere on the website did it show Acorn as reservation, nor did the gocampok.com website used for ok state park reservations. She had us move to acorn 12, which is truly a better site. However, with this change in policy, it should have been published. They could have at least posted a notice with the park maps at the entrance. This park is nice, but I feel they failed in informing visitors of policies.

Pretty Nice Park
Set up on Sunday right behind a couple leaving. Stayed in Cypress. Most spots very tight for 35 foot. Deer walk among the campsites sometimes in herds. Park is beautiful and quiet for the most part. State apparently does not do much maintenance as the roads are rough, some bridge timbers used with pads needed replacing 5 years ago. Disappointed in the amount of trash left around some campsites. Lots to do on weekends. Looks as though many of the commercial ventures are not open during early week. Given the negatives I would come back in a heartbeat....but not on weekend.

Revised Review -- Happier
Set up in Armadillo -- full hookups, extremely tight for our 40' 5er. Then told Acorn area did have water frontage. Checked it out and moved. Water and electric only but we like the view of the river. They need RV parking at the Forest Heritage Center so you can talk to someone and get good info on the park's various areas. Phone help was bad. Much happier here.

Class A Owner (38')
Great place to spend some time. We love to go there. My ONLY complaint would be the very limited sewer hookups...camp hosts are REALLY great people. You will not find a prettier more peaceful place.
