Clean
Stayed here June 2020 and it was a nice spot for an overnight. Would stop again.

no Cable TV and No wifi
I only rated this three stars because of DISHONEST REPRESENTATION.
I was charged $44 less 10% for veteran discount. No cable TV and No Wifi. The owner told me Lightning had struck the antenna and burned out the system. I believe her but how long ago, a year? longer? I talked to full timers there. As far as CABLE TV, The park is not wired for cable TV and NEVER HAS BEEN.
A really beautiful place with the lake across the road and a catch and release pond on the property. Everything we saw was really well maintained. Our space was under a big tree and gave us all afternoon shade. There is plenty of room for slides and parking too.
There are a lot of full time residents and most of the rigs are in good shape however some are ready for the dumps.
I would stay here again if the price honestly reflected the amenities or lack there of.

Nice Overnight
Stopped in for the night while driving up 35. Nice clean and well maintained park. Quiet and friendly. We had a pull through with a nice view of the lake. Easy enough to access from the highway. Had a great dinner downtown at a local BBQ/smokehouse joint. Nice area!

Passing Through
The campground is nice enough but there is No cable tv service & the WiFi may as well be nonexistent. We just need a safe place for one night. Camping sites are mostly all grass & some gravel. The neighbor’s fire ring is a few feet from your rig. Lots of permanent residents. They do not take plastic for pymt.

Caution! Employee Causes Accidents!
We were placed in site 62. 6 feet off of the park road. We were in the only available spot to accomodate our 45' DP towing. We were 6 feet off of the road. The employee parking the rig next to us directed them so their tow vehicle hit our car. She denied that anything hit and immediately left the scene. Thanks alot! And now that I spoke to the owner, more frustrated than ever. I was not looking for anything other than acknowledgement that this employee should either abstain from assisting customers when parking or do it correctly. Not an apology, just frustrating. Won't return. Hope you do not visit either. Spend your $$ at aplace where they appreciate customers & safety.
