It’s a quiet campground with a pool area that was nice. The bathrooms are adequate but not a lot of space. The spot was pretty uneven and there looks to be about 50% long term. But it was a good spot for us to camp a few nights while we explored Cherokee and Bryson City and GSMNP. We are used to staying at state park campgrounds so it is ok but nothing fancy. Be sure to visit Native American Brewing- it was fabulous!

If Your Parking Your Rig, It’s Great.
Great location! Attendant was nice. Half the price of the other campgrounds in the area. Tons of lightning bugs at night. Pool was there. Playground was rotten, but the kid didn’t care and loved it. We left after breakfast and came back at dinner time. If you sit at your campsite your lame and won’t like this place. The power pole was sketchy and borderline a fire hazard. Shared water with the next site via a y splitter. Their trailer was there for the long haul, lots of “residents” smelled a little like mothballs. Grass needed mowed. However I enjoyed my stay there. It is definitely rustic.

Meh, not impressed
Stayed here while in town visiting family. Were reassigned sites from the ones we had book via telephone. The picnic table was broken and the grass on our site was in desperate need of a trim. The 30amp service to our site did not work but thankfully we carry an adapter to use the 50amp. The cable did not work and the water spigot had a leak causing the ground to be saturated. The mens bathhouse had exposed wiring, was missing a shower head in one stall and had one toilet that stayed broken the entire 4 day stay.
The staff in the store seemed friendly and the location was convenient. There was a pool although we did not use. We camped in a popup and do not expect prefection but do have standards a campground must meet and this one was lacking. Was just overall disappointed in the quality of things versus how it was represented on their website.

Embarrassing for a Good Sams park. Web site is very out of date. Stated laundry had 8 machines, it had seven, but only three worked. The one drier that did run was not drying very well. Cut my finger on sheet metal door of drier as there was no handle. Place was full of spiders and in need of a lot of cleaning. Rest of the park needed a lot of clean up also. Tree branches cut and left where they dropped. Too bad because it is a nice location and good layout, just run down. Stray dogs and cats too. Most of sites are seasonal or full time, very noisy.

Full of residents who live here and then seasonal only a few spots for motor home and a some for small trailers. Needs lots of updates (my site the power did not work and the cable sucked ). Nice location to smokey mountains and Blue Ridge Trail, to bad!
