Nice park, easy to get my 40’ DP w/toad around the park. No problem with my back in site(83). Laundry was clean and in working order. Did not use the pool but it was good size and looked nice. Shopping was close by and easy to get to. Check out some of the breweries and wineries in the area. $290.00/wk

The positives: convenient to everything you would need and to I-26 without all the traffic noise. Close to the airport but surprised that you can't really hear the planes while in your RV. Bathhouses are clean but dated. Sites are level, gravel, with both 30 & 50amp service and clean water. They have a little store, laundry room, and pond with paddle boats/ canoes that are available.
The negatives: This is an older campground that could use some attention, especially to the entrance road which is full of potholes and rutts. The bathhouses and laundry room are not heated . Stayed here in November with low 40° temperatures, and no way to close the window. Had to run all showers on hot to try to get some level of heat in the bathroom. Both the Wifi and cable are lacking in service. Only received 8 channels through the cable connection. This place was probably fantastic back in the early days!

Nice Will Come Back
I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice, well maintained. They are In COVID lockdown and rightfully so. Just be prepared for contactless check in. While I was there paddle boats were free. I will certainly come back.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were all very helpful. Very close to the Asheville Airport but we only heard two planes the entire time. That may because of the slow air travel due to Covid. This was just a 15-20 minute drive from Asheville’s city center. Less than 5 minutes from a Walmart and tons of restaurants. Very quiet. The paddle boating on the lake looked nice and we saw several people doing that and having a good time. There were also canoes and kayaks available, although we didn’t personally have time to try any of that. The office was closed to walk-ins due to Covid but someone met us at the front porch and gave us all of our check-in material as well as our gate key. The WiFi was spotty. We never got our cable to work correctly, but we are pretty certain it was user error, and not the camp’s fault. One negative was that they charged $3 each for our daughter and son-in-law, who live in Asheville, to come to visit us at the RV for a couple of hours.

Very Rude Front Staff
We arrived before check in time and they wanted to charge us $10??? The sites were full hookups and nice.

We stayed 10 nights in our 35’ fifth wheel. Weekly rate was $283.00 plus additional nights. Site was roomy enough for our RV plus able to park our tow vehicle and small car end to end next to the camper and still have a little room in between. A little tight getting in and out though because some people park their vehicles alongside the road so we had to ask them to move so we could get out. Otherwise very clean park and facilities. Would stay here again.

Short Stay
Great location to shopping and dining. Premium sites are roomy, others are small. Very nice and clean. Everything is kept up and taken care of. Staff was very friendly. I will go back.

Nice Park
Not a bad little park. Clean and well maintained, staff was very nice. The sites are very cramped but not to big of a deal for us. Nightly rate was $50, not to bad.

Overpriced And Very Small Spaces
Wish I had read the other reviews. They really squeeze in the campers here. And the lake is a pond. Nice check in and lovely office but just feels like a huge gravel lot with no room to enjoy. And at $48. Sorry but just not with it. No ambience here at all.

Over Priced
Easy way overpriced, very tight spaces. The dumpster situation!! The wash house is great. It's very dusty, park construction. The pavement is developing pot holes. Sites are gravel, and uneven. The location is convenient to stores and shopping.

Nice RV Park, lots of working families but quite. Trash was over flowing in dumpster the entire time we were there, not a pleasant site! Pricy in my opinion, stayed at much nicer parks for a lot less!
