Best Walmart So Far For Overnight

This is the best Walmart I’ve overnighted at so far. Very quiet area in small town. Ticonderoga population is only 5500. Plenty of room for overnight parking. We parked in what I would call the overflow lot furthest away straight out from front of store. Pretty level, just enough slope for proper rain run-off. Just us and one van overnight. Also, noted there is what appears to be a permanently closed Lowes next door. A tractor trailer parked there overnight.

Spent A Nice Quiet Night

We were all by ourselves in the back parking lot. Found a nice level area and it was super quiet. Nice area to walk our dog too.

Overnight in a motorhome

Nice, clean, and pretty level. Parking lot sets away from main road and so is pretty quiet. Arrived about 5 pm, shopped, and settled in. No other trucks or campers present. However... on friday nights, apparently, the local teenagers gather in this parking lot for teenager shenanigans. Not misbehaving, but not quiet either. I moved to the opposite corner of the lot and it was much more peaceful. If there is any trouble I will update this.

Quiet, Great View

Surprisingly good - quiet. it’s on a low hill with view of sunset and sunrise. Stayed two nights, class B Roadtrek, only camper. Location is close to Downtown, restaurants, shops, stores, gas. La Chute river runs along downtown. Also, near Putnam Pond SP, attractive campground, pond, hiking trails.

Great

Stayed on a Monday night. We were the only ones there and had an almost empty huge parking lot. Would recommend

Great Stayover

Quiet, scenic and near a few eateries. Easy walk to Dunkin’ Donuts. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
