The Less Touristy End Of The Lake
We stayed here to appreciate the beauty of the Lake George area without the chaos of the Lake George tourist meccah; Brookwood is exactly that.
Beautifully landscaped. Peaceful stay. Super clean facilities and a new pool.
We arrived early in the season: The weekend before July 4th (the area's big weekend).
The owners/staff are very friendly and helpful.
There is excellent WiFi and a new pool.
Some reviews I saw were pre-pool and pre WiFi
I do wish the pool was open later.

Very Good Privately Owned Campground
Great country camp store that includes crafts grocery supplies and snacks. Reasonably priced, proprietor very helpful and friendly. Good Wi-Fi was able to stream 1080p and Wi-Fi calling without a problem. Expanding property with a new built-in pool should be open for 2022 season.

Expensive For Tents or small Class B
Holiday weekend, Labor Day, expensive for even Tent site without electric. Instead, chose Putnam Pond SP - lovely area, pond and variety of hiking trails.

Second time to camp here. This is a nice campground. The facilities are great. The owner was very accommodating. Provided information for our travels to Vermont. Great place. I highly recommend.

Beautiful campground with level spacious sites. Very good facilities. Owners are extremely nice and helpful.
