Vanagon Texans Passing Thru
What a beautiful place and setting, it is in the woods and a little hard to get to..., especially for a late arrival at 9:30 at night but the owners were so helpful and accommodating that we enjoyed our one-night stay (would have been more if the weather was better) and the bathrooms and showers were clean and warm for this winter time so had a great night!

The park was nice, the owners were helpful and friendly. The only issue is it’s fairly tight to move your rvs around. May be a little daunting for new rv owners. I’m not super experienced and made it alright but I was nervous. Overall a very good experience.

Biggest plus is off the beaten path. Looks tight for driving but our Class A with our toad pulled in and out with no problems. Your on the side of the hill but site was reasonably gravel level. Hosts were very helpful. Not full of permanent transients. Full 50/30, sewer, and water. It's an older site and could use updating on all hookups but for the off season it was okay. Lots of trees and ambience.

Clean, Quiet, Woodsy, Close To Town
We stayed for 4 nights off-season in March 2016. Owner advised in advance that office and store are closed in off-season, but gave very good instructions on how to find our space and how to submit payment. We arrived at dusk and found the park easy to navigate. Spaces are gravel and mostly level. We had to boost one side of the 5th wheel a small amount. Space has water, 30 and 50 amp service and sewer. Owner was very responsive to the couple questions we asked via phone. Water is clean and clear.
Has a couple nice cabins on the side and a few permanent RVs, but these are placed on the edges and are not messy looking. The RV park is on a hillside, so the spaces are on graded short roads, making one row of RVs higher than the next. This is very nice because there is no chance you have an RV parked so they can look in your windows.
The park is heavily wooded, creating a peaceful outdoors feeling. Location is less than 5 min from to town. WiFi works!
