Great Spot Right Off Of I15 And US20
Owners were great. We were stuck right in Browning, MT. ** side story… we were stuck in Browning because we stopped to visit the Museum of the Plains Indians. The security guard suggested we check our the parade that was starting in a few minutes, so we did. More folks on horseback than I’d ever seen in a parade. Pretty cool. Turns our, we were right in the middle of North American Indian Days. We proceeded to check out the museum—which is loaded with one of a kind artifacts and other cultural objects. Smithsonian quality (but not as big). From there we went to the Grand Entrance for the powwow. Blackfeet and other tribes attended in full dress. It was stunning. Did I mention we were parked in the museum parking lot which was where the powwow, competitions, and a carnival were happening. Cars were parked all around our 35 foot RV and Jeep in tow. We could go nowhere. ** the point, we called Lewis & Clark Campground. They said no problem, we live upstairs, call before you head our way.

Definitely the best place to stay in Shelby. Very friendly and helpful owners on site. Would definitely stay again when traveling to/from Canada. Best bang for the buck by far in the area. Has every thing you need, especially if you don't like paying high premiums for "resort " frills you don't use anyway.

Passing Through
We found this on an RV site. I can't say enough about the RV hosts. We contacted then while on our way, but due to passing through several states we were running very late(11pm). We contacted them again and they said no problem, we will watch for you we live on site. We arrived a little after 11, and sure enough he was waiting, and settled us in. It was a load off of our minds. It was very clean and met our needs. We can't thank you enough.

Perfect For Overnight Or Longer
Great friendly owners and accommodating to their guests. New owners are making a real effort to make this your fav spot either for overnight or relaxing for a few days. New MTB trails are just across from the entrance as well as paved 5.3 miles of walking/biking paths. Propane is dirt cheap compared to everywhere else. Lakes close and nearby, surprisingly the Sunset was fabulous and the rabbits are fun to watch over a glass of wine or a cold beverage of choice. Best of Luck to the new Owners. Vino Vilano

Ak Traveler
Stayed here on our way back to Alaska after nine months on the road. A great spot to spend the night. The owner got us to our spot and had some great advice on where to go for a hike just across the road. Nice facilities and we felt very welcomed.

Perfect
Nothing fancy but everything we need on a cold night in Montana. Owners are great and dog friendly. WiFi is good. We can't expect water at our site when it's this cold, but there is a tap available to fill our tanks. Would definitely stay here again, traveling from Banff to Yellowstone.

Convenient Location/Dog friendly
Stayed here the night before crossing into Canada. Is under new ownership and you can tell the owners want to be successful (which is beneficial to the camper)! The facilities were clean, the owners were very kind, and the dog park was nice for the dogs to stretch out. I don’t know if I’d stay here more than a couple days, but if you plan to cross into Canada this is literally the perfect launching point. Mile from gas station and short trip to the border. Highly recommend.

Great Spot 40 Miles from Border
We found this park on park advisor and made contact by email request. We were promptly notified they had a spot available for our requested stay. Lovely clean and well maintained grounds. We were personally quided to our spot by owner. He spent a good deal of time with us explaining the hiking and biking trails nearby and the wildlife we were likely to see.

I’d you’re traveling in northern Montana, either Hwy. 2 or I-15, be sure and make this one of your stops! New owners from 8/2021 and they are making this park great. Restrooms are spotless, very dog friendly (even though we didn’t have ours we saw lots) and the owner is very helpful. It’s very quiet, easy off and on the freeway too. Great place to launch to Canada or East Glacier. We highly recommend Lewis & Clark RV Park!

Great facility. The best pet friendly park. The new owners built a off leash area. After 10 hours in the RV my 2 Golden Retrievers got to run and play free off a leash. Facilities very clean and kept up. Lawn mowed. I give it a 5 star rating. Owners are very accommodating.

Lovely RV Park! New owners very nice and accommodating. Quiet location even though its close to the interstate. Easy access from I15 or hwy 2 in town. Traveling through so only stayed 1 night. Did not use bathrooms but did use laundry, it was spotless. If the weather had been better we would have taken advantage of the Roadrunner trail nearby to walk our dog and soak up some nature. This is the park to stay at when in Shelby. Would definitely stay again!

West Bound
New owners. Super nice people, very helpful, willing to help out. Campsite is the first exit north of Shelby off of interstate 15 easy access can see the sign from the interstate. Not too hard to get from town off a route 2. Stop in at the information booth east side of town off route 2 and talk to Ashley very helpful and friendly. Campsites are large. Parallel park to a grassy area with picnic tables. You park on pea gravel and our site was level. We elected for water and electric only. There are full hookups available with cable. You will hear the trains from Shelby but not bothersome to us. The owners are maintaining the park very well. If ever back this way - ( I will be back ).

Under new ownership! Nice, young couple that has a beautiful spot not far from the border. It has a great area for dogs and away from railroad tracks.Bathrooms very clean, showers unavailable as under renovation. Will definitely stay here again. Check out my photo of the incredible sunset.

Nice park. Spent 3 nights to explore the area. Asked to add a night and they accommodated by having us move to another site. Some sites are by a very nice grassy center area as well as a creek by their golf course. Lady in the office was helpful with local information. They offer free golf club rentals. Bathrooms very nice. Clean. They only take cash or checks for payment.

Nice People
Plenty of room for any size RV. Full hook ups with 50 amp. Showers are quite large and you have a sink and toilet. Very clean. Owners had several good suggestions for what to see in Glacier national park. 35ish $ per night with good Sam discount.

We Loved IT
I read the prior review and still decided to try it. I went in with a happy heart and a positive attitude and the woman responded in kind. She was really pet friendly but tired of those owners who don't think they should clean up the crap. Understood. No problems at all. Very nice camping as it was all pull aside set ups with full hookups. Can't say more other than be a responsible pet owner and make everyone happy.
