Best Deal

Found this on Park Advisor and I was amazed at how easy it was to stay here it’s very clean it’s a little bit noisy from the highway but nothing that once we close our doors will bother us I highly recommend this place I will definitely be back going to Texas now which is home when we come back up to Indiana every year sometimes twice a year and this will be one of our stops thank you so much!

Great Stop

We have stopped here twice now. Love watching the Geese on the pond across the street. $15 for full hookup is a huge plus!

Overnighter

Passing through stopped here before $15 for full hookups I'm good for the night and tomorrow back on the road total length of 50 ft camper and trailer nice level fairy close to the interstate and a restaurant nearby

Spent last night here. Perfect for a stop over with 50 amp service FHU. If you are looking for resort amenities then drive on but for a no frills overnight stay at $15 you can’t beat it.

Nice spot for a quick over nighter without having to unhook from truck. Cheap price for full hook ups. No showers or bathrooms for any tent campers.

Nice Overnight - Check Electric First

Check the electric at your site prior to setting up or paying. On other review sites some reviews mention setting up to find no power at the post. At my site, 23, the power worked but the inside of the electric box was a frightening jumble of wires and open connections. My surge protector didn't give me any warnings so we stayed, but it was raining and I'm pretty sure you could get shocked in that box on a wet day. I've included photos of electric boxes from 2 sites. Others looked OK, but since folks reported power problems & I found a shambles I'd check carefully before putting out slides or putting my money in their metal lock box from which you can't get it back. That said, it's a nice overnight spot if your power works, and a nice walk in the park across the street. Note there are no restrooms and no staff present.

Just like they say, easy on/easy off, FHU, pull through. Handy overnight spot. $15!!!

Nice Overnight

Stopped in for an over night. Lots of room, cheap, 15 bucks, full hookup. Just very pleasant, good people.

Nice R.V. park I can't believe for the price is not full all the time. Lot are level, rock and grass pads. Full hook up most looked to be pull throughs. No rest rooms I believe it had a lock on the door but that's no problem for us. Noise was not a problem. Food and fuel really close. We had no problems parking my 40 ft fifth wheel. This was my second time here and we will be back when we pass through.

Sweet Deal

We started at Wal-Mart in Sikeston. Got permission at JCPenney across the street cuz their parking lot looked quieter. It was till 930 when a jerky trucker pulled right in front of our rig and proceeded to create all kinds of loud, annoying, non-peaceful sounds. So at 1030pm we sure appreciated the gem that is Boomland RV. Quiet. Peaceful, ridiculously inexpensive. Breakfast at Wally's and shopping extravaganza so worth staying here. We are in a fifth wheel and did not unhook. The the level grass and gravel sites with FH perfect. Will stop again and recommend it to everyone traveling I-57 or I-55.

Water, electric and sewer all work and for $12 the best deal around. Gas and food next door.

Nice

Nothing fancy is an understatement. But for $12 a night what did you expect? It provides water-sewer-power and a level gravel lot. We'll be back.

Boomland

We stayed here overnight on New Years Eve 2015 with a 31' class C pulling a Mini Cooper on a tow dolly. We arrived after dark but the campground and the pull through site was easy to get into. The next morning we unplugged and headed out. The campground was clean and we'll maintained. It's easy to get to off of I57. I'd stay there again.
