Great Views
Just brought a vintage rv and tried Dewayne Hayes as our first spot. Loved everything. Clean, friendly, pets allowed, quiet. We brought our 3 dogs and they behaved amazingly. Shaded areas with kids riding bikes. We had water view cost prime 22 night. Electric and water. Some sights have sewer. We didn’t, but no an issue. Great park!

Lots Of Sites
Camped in mid-Oct. This is very close to the AFB. If you don't mind the sounds of loud planes, then you'll be fine here. Lots of woods. Hunting is also close with gunshots. Nice sites. Concrete pads. Not all are level. River is visible at only a few sites. Some full hookups. Quiet in between flights, which means quiet at night. Road to access park is very narrow, no shoulder, but not hilly.

As advertised. Only 4 campers here. Lots of plane traffic during the day, but we enjoy watching the T-6A trainers zipping around. Quiet after the sun set. $20-$24 per night. Sewer hookups available. Half price with federal pass.

Clean, Boat Launch, & Kids Splash Park!
DeWayne Hayes is always well kept in more than on way:
1. Well kept in terms of maintenance
2. Well kept secret for amenities (boat launches, fish cleaning stations, kids splash park, river beach, etc)

very nice campground. friendly staff. very reasonable rates....with federal pass and senior rate, it was $12 per day. clean bathhouses. close to town. very quiet at night. jets from air base fly early and often, but it's no big deal. will definitely stay again when in the area!

Love It!
Spent one night. Back in spot, full hookups, easy enough in dark as well lit. Nice and quiet, clean and spacious. Growth blocks view of water, but half of sites are 10 seconds walk from water. Nice showers. Bring the kids bikes and let them run wild.

My mistake!
I've accidentally posted photos of the Whitten Corps park, which is north of here in Fulton, MS.
