Nice

Municipal campground that's nice for watching boats go by and easy access to downtown and locks. No shade but clean restrooms. Enjoyable weekend stay. Checkout the site marinetraffic.com for boat traffic.

Love It Here

This is a great place to sit, relax and watch the ships pass by. I literally did nothing, and was perfectly ok with it. Typically I find myself restless, wanting to go explore. Not here, I just sat and watched. I will say, if you get lot 99, bring at least 20' of 30amp extension cord and 30' of water line. Of course I didn't realize until after I set up, went to the office to see about a loaner cord, they had none, and said everyone has issues with that site. Good to know. Luckily there was a rv place across from the back side of Walmart that had one in stock. The office has there number. They didn't answer there phone, we had to go their to see if they were open. All worked out well and now we have a extension cord for next time

Great Location

Enjoyed watching large boats going to and from the lochs. Boat ramps next door. Clean and great location to downtown. Clean restrooms.

Dump & Water $5

Fresh water and dump station $5. Pay at office or fee pillar at dump site.

We did the second half of our Honeymoon there. Absolutely wonderful place. My wife loved it too. We biked into town twice and was surrounded by super people who were veterans to the park. They gave me apps for my phone to track the big Lakers and super suggestions for seeing the town. We “Will” be back.

Easy To Maneuver In 75' Rig

We've got a 43' RV and a 28' trailer and we had no troubles backing into spot 60. Friendly office staff, clean, right on the water! Just a wide open grass space with a few scattered trees. 30amp only. We'd come back. 10 minutes to the Canadian border, right by the Soo Locks.

This is an excellent choice for camping. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. Fantastic view of lake freighters going by. Campground is owned by the city of Sault St. Marie. Very secure as the city police, the border patrol, park officers and the park workers drive thru. A little windy at times but that's the nature of the area. Been camping there 10 years now. Love going there.

Great Campground But

Nice quit campground great views of freighters going up and down the river. Campground is down river from the Zoo Locks. Located near lock boat tours. WiFe wasn't the greatest no shade and do to trouble in the past with none campground users bathrooms and showers had push botton lock. I would stay again but maybe not in a pop-up camper the 30+ winds one day made camping in mine kind of scary.
