Right On The Lake

Beautiful area right on the lake. The campsites are quite close to each other. But the area was lovely and if you don't mind having really close neighbors you would enjoy it.

August Getaway

We spent two days here in late August for the first time and this place was absolutely amazing. Bathrooms and showers are clean, every site is just super and we were fortunate to get a spot on the water. The best part is the sunsets. We had no interest in going anyway else with such a great time on the beach. We will go back again, next time for a longer stay!

Outstanding

Beautiful campground with a great manager! Tony. Gave us local information to make our stay awesome. Sites are all very nice at lake level. We stayed in October at or near season closing. The winds were strong and the waves were loud! Nice. Sideways snow breifly in the morning. We will be back.

LOVED IT !!!!

Just plan on staying for 2 weeks and call the morning you will arrive. The lakeside spots are spacious and you can hear the surf from your camper. Also, nice little town is less than 2 miles away and has tons to offer. Visit the Gitche Gumee Landing Gift Shop & Syl's Bakery !!!! Laundromat is new and very clean. I'll be back.

Absolutely a wonderful place people of Ontonogan are friendly campground was clean and well kept sunsets are unbelievable reasonable rates planned on staying 4 days stayed 7 just because it was so relaxing will be back asap
