Little Bit Dated
Check in was great. Was met by park host on a golf cart as I pulled in. He had 3 sites i could choose from. He rode me to sites on cart so I could choose. Upon making my decision, he escorted me to site and assisted me backing in. Sites vary in degrees of shade and being level. Some pretty good some not. Seems all sites have 30/50 amp. Water and sewer. Cell service is good. Free wifi only in main building but pay wifi is available with local telephone company. Bath house laundry was very clean but dated. Pool nice but needed cleaning. No chairs umbrellas or tables at pool. Mini golf course is a wreck. So to sum it up. Park is ok, but needs attention quickly. Staff have been wonderful and campers are nice. Very quiet and peaceful but don't expect a 5 star resort.

Staff was friendly. Sights are very close. Sewer, electrical and water for adjacent rig was literally 5 feet from front door and "seating area", sight A9. It looks as if most sights were just as tight. Not much upkeep to sights. Common are seemed ok. No phone signal and no wifi unless you pay so you are essentially no tech. Quiet though.

Camper
The park was a bit dated and the sites are very close together. There were weeds growing up around the water access spouts and the place where I was to hook up to the sewer was not working. It was an okay campground...the staff was very nice and helpful. Just disappointed in the upkeep and dated looks of the grounds.

Not A Resort
Tents outside campers, open fires, big wheels and crying babies. Not to mention tight lots. This is not a resort, campground yes. Family fun, probably, but not an RV Resort. Won’t be back. Barely fit our motor home on site. Golf course? What golf course? I don’t see any golf course? No WiFi at site unless you pay extra, what RV resort makes you pay for WiFi?

Keep Driving
Campground has seen its better days, run down and dingy. Very tight spaces, lots of permanent residents who make you feel very unwelcomed as if you are trespassing. NOT kid friendly at all, the game room as well as all of the activities are kept under lock and key and waivers must be signed in order to access and use. No on site staff so you must drive across the street ( approx 1/2 mile ). My neighbor would keep his gray water open running it into my site, ruined my mat / rug, made our site and camper smell disgusting ( its not against the rules ). By far the worst campground I have ever stayed at...

Nice Campground
Stayed three nights. Staff at the desk were very friendly. We had pull through site #300 not far from the pool. Close to all the attractions in Cave City. Kids had fun. Safe place for them to ride bikes. We toured Diamond Caverns and Mammoth Cave the same day. I highly recommend Diamond Caverns. It was my favorite.

Close To Caves
We stayed here 2 nights to visit Mammoth Cave. The park was nice but a bit dated. The mini golf is in need of repair. The playground was nice. We had a pad site near the clubhouse that was level and clean. Staff was friendly. The pool was clean and had plenty of room to sit. It is only 7 miles from Mammoth Cave and across the street from Diamond Caverns. Like others stated there is no assignment you just pick a spot. Note that check in is actually across the street from the actual park. Some issues we found: Difficult to reach someone after hours Only 2 small showers in the ladies room You have to drive pretty far back into the park to dump trash Laundry facilities were far

Kid Friendly
This was our first full hook up experience and everything worked properly. Nice pool, playground with sand, game room, mini golf, and plenty of grassy area for the kids to run around. The staff was very accommodating. I don’t know if it’s common but you can’t book a specific site, just reserve “a spot”. No free WiFi at sites just at the clubhouse. Most sites are a little tight. Would go back again.

Very Nice 1000 Trails Park
Nice park, typical amenities, but the park hosts are typical "southern friendly "! Also, the scenic Mammoth Caves are very nearby. I will, and have already, returned. ( I withhold one star for no wifi at your site, but it is available in the commons building.)
