The Best!
The one night stay was perfect! The bathroom was the cleanest ever and we have stayed in at least 50! The music playing was delightful. Greeter Michele was pleasant and helpful. There is some noise from train and highway but in our Casita we could not hear either! Highly recommend this campground. Best KOA we have stayed in! Happy travels!

Nice But….
We stayed here two nights. There is a very busy CSX railroad approximately 100 yards from the campground, trains seem to come pass every couple of hours. The entire campground is gravel and grass. The sites do seem pretty level, and the park is clean and maintained. The internet is a joke and like most campgrounds you can not connect and it’s very slow if you get lucky enough to connect. The “cable” is also a joke it seems they are attempting to share their dish network through the park and the picture is far from clear…and several channels do not even come in. The sites are very close to one another and our neighbors were loud!!! Not that they were doing anything to be loud it’s just that close. Every time they opened their camper door we could hear it inside our camper. Next time we will probably stay at jelly stone down the road. The price is a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for!

Good Place To Stop For A Couple Of Days
So we were on our honeymoon and decided to stop it. Kentucky. Weather was warmer and we were right next to Mammoth caves. Get your reservations early. They are amazing. Park was on a smaller side but right next to a lot of amenities. McDonald's cracker barrel gas stations. Two washers two dryers dollar 75 each. Everyone was friendly. Gravel sites but very level

Nice level pull through sites, plenty of room to maneuver our big rig with no need to unhook. Quiet location, friendly staff. The Mexican restaurant down the street was great!

Great Park!
We stayed here four nights exploring Mammoth Cave and the surrounding area. This park is great in many ways. Sites are gravel, but level. The bathrooms are clean and do indeed have music playing 24/7. Might have been the best dog park at a RV stop we’ve seen. It was big enough to be able throw a ball for the dogs. Wi-Fi was iffy and the pool was really small. Otherwise a really great campground and would stay here again.
Some reviews mention the train tracks nearby, but we had the a/c on and didn’t hear a thing. Lastly, there’s a path thru a field to walk to a nearby Cracker Barrel in the morning.
Bowling Green is about 30 minutes away and Mammoth Cave NP is 15 minutes away. Two pieces of advice: 1) Book tours at least a week early because the sell out FAST! 2) Book multiple tours as they all are a little different and you won’t want to miss it. It’s a fantastic NP!

Very Nice campground!
Stopped over for one night passing through. Was such a nice park, I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Very clean bathrooms, loved the music playing. Never had that in an RV park bathroom before! Will definitely stay again when we come back to the area

Wonderful Park
Have been staying in this park for almost a week now and can’t complain about anything. Nice quiet park that is very well taken care of. It has gravel interior roads that are very well taken care of as is all grounds and buildings. Would highly recommend this park to anyone coming through this area.

Great Campground
This is a great campground. We stayed over the 4th of July holiday with family-3 campsites altogether. Their new pool is great & my pooches loved the big dog park. The owners are friendly and their grounds are immaculate with easy pull through sites. The campground is close to mammoth cave and all the other fun activities in the area. The only thing that would improve this little place is a small playground. I’m only giving 4 stars because of all the fireworks-which isn’t the campgrounds fault at all, but so many were being at off so close that for 2 nights, it was constant from dusk until at least 1 a.m. if you have a dog that’s afraid of them, you won’t have any rest at all. Will definitely come back, just not over the independence holiday.

Noisy But Easy Access
Easy access to I65. Sites are gravel pull thru. They do offer easy late check in. If you’re a light sleeper, though, this place isn’t for you. You hear very loud trains every couple hours all night long. Also, you hear a lot of noise from the freeway, but not as bad as the trains. WiFi isn’t good. They have propane, but the office (and propane) doesn’t open until 10:00 Central Time (that’s 11:00 Eastern Time). Most RVers prefer to start their journey in the morning and drive through the daylight, so getting moving at 11:30 Eastern Time isn’t going to work for most. Cost is $42/night plus tax.

Great Place
I called on a Saturday last minute to see if they have a site available. I'd just purchased new RV 40 feet long she put me in a pull thru site. All I can say is everything was perfect. They left me the site info in the box as I arrived at nearly 8pm and the office was closed. Along with my receipt and all was a map which led me directly to my site. Its a fun neat and clean place with plenty around. I'm not 100% about the price but I believe it was $42 for the night.

I Vote This Park As A #1 Destination
I have stayed at this park twice a year for 5 years and have never left with a negative experience. The owner Jeff is just like family to us and his staff is spot on. The park bathrooms are the cleanest and always well maintained. The high speed cable and cable television is the best. The park is very secure and safe with all utilities in great working order. Please come visit this park you will never be disappointed, and you can now use the newly installed pool. This park is the best of the best and a high standing member with Good Sam. Don't take a chance staying elsewhere with such a great park in Cave City Kentucky!

Very Nice Campground
This is one of the nicest CG we’ve stayed in. The sites are all level, we had a little tree overhead, easy pull through.
Convenient location near interstate.
The landscaping really added to the overall picture. Beautiful shrubs and plants all around.
They have a huge dog play area surrounded by evergreens.

Perfect Stopover
We were travelling to Indiana from Ga and booked this location as our stop over point. The park is setup perfect with all sites being pull through. Great so we didnt have to disconnect. Also, very clean and we loved having dog park. After hours check-in was easy!

Perfect
Traveling through Kentucky we were ready to stop for the night and was looking just south of Louisville. Using the Park Advisor app we found this gem of a campground and we are so glad we did. We were almost to Louisville when we encountered a mechanical issue on the RV which delayed us by over an hour. Called Rock Country to let them know we would be late and would need to extend our stay by at least 1 day. Jeff and the entire staff were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We highly recommend this place!

Cave Country
Very convenient to the National Park. Campground was very well kept, lots were level and clean. Some reviews complained of train noise but that was that big of a deal to us. Bathhouse was very clean and roomy. Only reason for 4 stars was the exceptionally weak wi-fi. Overall a great place to stay.

Beautiful small RV park
I took one star off for the train noise. However it is a very nice park otherwise. It is small without a lot of amenities but it has one of the nicest bathhouses I have seen, which makes up for a lot of the lost star. The stalls (both toilet and shower) are spacious with plenty of room to shower and to dress. There is one huge handicap stall that has commode, sink and stool. Very clean. I loved the butterfly garden...lots of butterflies. There are also lots of places nearby to eat.

This park was recommended by friends and we are happy we took their advice. We stayed a week and found it to be a well cared for campground with clean facilities, wide, gravel, level sites, and broad gravel driveways. Just as importantly, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only disappointment (that may be too harsh a word) was the laundry facility. There are only two washers and two dryers and one of the dryers was out of order. Thankfully, the room is open 24 hours!
We would definitely stay here again.

Cave Heaven
Didn't give it a five star for one reason: it wasn't free! Everything else was perfect. Good price, nice layout, right off the interstate, laundry, showers, restaurants in walking distance, safe. Thanks for a wonderful experience to cave country RV.

Cave Country
This park is a beautiful 10 minute drive to the visitor center at Mammoth Cave. If you’re looking to spend most of your time at the attractions, then this is the campground for you. The dog park is very nice! The laundry facilities and bathrooms are very clean. There aren’t any activities for children. The staff is very respectful and professional. It is a wonderful place.

Great stop through or staging park. Very clean and well maintained. Sites are level and pull through sites have plenty of room. This is not a resort park, but we were not expecting it. It met our expectations.

Good Parts
This campground has a lot going for itself and some things not so much.
First of all, the grounds were very clean, pull through with full service including cable hook up. Close to Mammoth Caves. Lots of food places such as Cracker Barrel and for those less picky, just a few minutes from McDonald’s. A great dog bark too.
There does not appear to be much shade but the spaces are far apart. The back side closer to the highway is a lot closer than we thought. The Train was even closer. The train whistle was very loud and the train rumble will wake you up. There was about 4 or 5 trains that came through. Right next door is a factory and they seem to store Porta Pots and the smell was a bit stinky.
Great place to stop for a few days or to make it a one nighter just be sure to stay away from the side by the railroad tracks.

Excellent Park - Exceptional Owners
Park facilities are excellent. Level gravel sites, even buddy sites. Clean laundry and shower facilities. The over-the-top part is the thoughtfulness and compassion of the owners. They granted our 2-rig party an extra night on a busy weekend while I underwent emergency surgery and checked our status and needs during my hospitalization. Highly recommend this park.

Excellent place to stop for a day or longer. The showers and restrooms were the cleanest and nicest we have seen at a campground.
Obviously, the owners take great pride in this rv park, nice large lots, wifi is fast and reliable, the lawn and flower gardens are well manicured. We received a veteran's discount--nice!!

Great Park
I really like this park. Close to I65 but far enough away not to hear it. Train tracks aren't too far away but being from a train community I must be immune to them. I heard one pass through but it didn't seem to be overbearing.
The folks that run it are super nice. It's well maintained. Bathrooms are spotless. Laundry is small 2/2. I have it 5 stars because it's got great WIFI and cable. FHU 50/30 amp. Gravel sites are level, too.
Good Sam Park.

We are here now for a week.Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We got mail forwarded and they left a note on our camper that it was here.
Close to Mamouth Cave and all the other places near by,only fault would be that there are trains pretty close by but not that bad, otherwise nice quiet well maintained park.We will come again

We stopped here for an overnight as we headed home from Ohio. Great spot. Very nice staff and park. Spectacular bathhouse. Electric boxes have a light when arriving at night. We will come up and stay again. Only 4.5 hours from home. Lots to do in the area.

Nice Place To Stay
Very nice campground. Bathhouse is clean, grounds are kept up nicely. Staff is very friendly. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is they charge an extra $3.50 for 2 of my 3 kids. I bring my own accommodations, and price is for only 3 people. As a family of 5 traveling, seems ridiculous to charge extra for kids. Kids should stay free.

Best Park in Cave City
Excellent park. Good roads and site layout. Easy for big rigs. Very clean and neat. Showers are the best we have found in our travels. Utilities are in top condition, and WiFi was fast. Trains roaring past several times per night came as a surprise, but honestly I found them interesting. We stay here every time we travel south.
