One Night Stay

A very nice park. Very friendly and nice staff. Just did water and electric as we only stayed one night. No picnic table or patio, but level spot on gravel. Sort of close together but not too bad. Restroom was dated but clean.

Just stayed one night. Very friendly owner. Sweet campground. Level site, very clean shower house with plenty of hot water. Well maintained in general. Good value. Would stay again.

Facts IS Better Then Faith

Nature is better then anything ,you would live longer, if you live out doors. (sell ) your house and live outdoors full time. You will be happy you will save a lot of money I'm the lord himself peace and love

Nice Place

We didn’t use the facilities, so can’t comment. Nice campsite. Owners very friendly. Great place to walk the dogs. A little road noise, but not bad. Will definitely stay again.

Got an electric only site as an overnight stop. Pull thru, owner ensured we were in the right spot as not to block road. Hot showers, close and easy from the interstate.

Very clean and well maintained. Sites are level and staff very friendly. Great for overnight or a couple of nights. We travel I 24 regularly and will be back one of the nicest we have stayed at!

A Hidden Gem

Less than a mile from highway 24, Fern Lake offers both overnight parking as well as longer stay parking. The owners are continually working around the park, sprucing up and keeping things in shape. It is an all gravel park but is maintained well. There’s a Pilot fueling station very close as well as a Marathon with a food court. There’s a Mexican restaurant across the road as well as a Waffle Hut, all of this in easy walking distance for the able bodied. You don’t typically get a lot of road noise, but it does happen on occasion if the breeze is blowing the right direction. Though there is no dog park, there’s a large field behind the park that I’ve always been able to run my dogs in and a beautiful pond. We’ve stayed here many times over the last 2-years and been very satisfied. The owners are very personable and always willing to be of assistance.

Very Nice.

Very comfortable feeling campground. The amenities are kept nice looking & in working order. The grounds are also well taken care of. If you like a laid back country feel this is your kind of place. There are full hookups ($35) & water & electric only ($32) sites with lots of pull thrus. Good Sam & military discounts.

Nice quiet spot. Manger knows how to park everyone so getting out in the morning is easy.

Traveling through and was lucky enough to find this nice place close to the exit! It is surprisingly quiet and bathrooms extremely clean. Sites were shaded, but pretty close together. Had a great meal across the street at the Mexican restaurant and slept great!

Nice Quiet Campground!

We stayed here for a 1-night stopover. Gravel lot, full hookups, shady, very level pull-through site, didn't have to unhook. Owners couldn't have been nicer. Led us right to the site & acted as spotter to get positioned.

We had a long day 7/19/19 we had 2 flat tires on our camper. My husband was tired after changing both tires. We where looking for a place to stay. I called and the sweetest voice said they had a spot for us. I was so relieved we checked in easiest check in ever. They showed us to our spot and man can we say Greatest place ever!!! We will put this in our book for another stay over night.

Great Overnight Spot

The staff was very friendly. The pull through didn’t have much room on each side, but was good for one night. My only real complaint was there was no outlets in the bathroom.

A gravel parking lot with full hook-ups. Water and electric good. AT&T signal good and wifi ok. Would be good for 1 night stopover.

Loved!!

Very close to highway and walking distance to waffle hut(24hour open) for breakfast! Owners are very kind and no complain! Pull through leveled ground and slept well!

Good And Basic

Nice clean place to use as a base. Inexpensive and friendly staff.

Stayed here for 1 night. Very convenient off the interstate but was surprisingly quiet. Very clean, heated bathrooms and showers and there is a Mexican Restaurant across the street . Very convenient ,large selection and large portions at an affordable price and tasted great!! Would stay here again!

This CG is perfect for an overnight stay off I24 in KY. Easy access, fuel nearby and restaurant walking distance. Clean, level and quiet

We spent one night here because it was close to the highway and was very easy in and out. Mostly pull through sites, quiet and clean. No frills, but that’s ok for one night. Great authentic Mexican restaurant across the street. Just walked over and didn’t even unhook.

Nice owner, we arrived late and it was really easy to set up.Clean bathrooms and good to have a hot shower with some elbow room!staying again on the return!

Over Night

Was a nice shady stop. Close to gas stations and just far enough from the interstate. Very friendly folks. Very clean bathrooms and camp site.

Convienent & Quiet

Tent area by the pond was shielded from the road noise. Was there during cicada season but earplugs saved the night.Friedly stand. Will stay there there again. Bit of a wall to the restroom.

Overnight Camp

Stayed for just a overnight stop. Clean well kept campground. Small lake you could walk your dog around. But it was ver noisy about 5 AM to 9 AM when local traffic went by for work. The trains could also be heard all night.

Clean campground. Not a ton of room but good for a night or two. Just off the interstate, but you don't hear a lot of road noise. Staff was very friendly.

Trees

This was a very nice and clean campground. We were lucky to get a spot under the trees facing the pond. The spot was wide and the trees kept the motorhome cool. There was another area that was on the concrete that got the morning sun but afternoon shade. Wifi was weak in our spot. Although we were near the interstate the trees were great noise barriers as we didn't get any noise.
