Great State Park

Did an overnight stay here. Site are generous in size, well laid out. Nice mature trees for shade. Dump station had good access. Can't ask for anything more. Sunrise ove the Ohio river was beautiful!

Fort Massac State Park campground is a very beautiful park with spacious sites. Camp sites have beautiful mature trees. Nice playgrounds for kids. All sites have electric and access to water. Our campsite had garbage in the fire pit. Bathrooms needed cleaned. Great price at $20 a night.

Not What We Expect From State Park

Convenient location off the highway but lacked maintenance and cleaning. Park office closed due to lack of staff. (Fire pit was full of garbage, grounds needed to be mowed, toilet broken). Nice playground. Unfortunately bike trail was flooded.

Very Nice

Very well kept state park with play ground, bath house, all level gravel sites with paved roads. I didn't have reservations but went anyway. Met the camp ground host and she said they are hardly ever full. $20 for the night! They do not take credit/debt cards . Great place super quiet! Only 1 1/2 miles off the interstate.
