Halloween

Nice park. Clean and friendly. Bathrooms could use some updates and cleaning. Lots of things to do. Great activities during Halloween weekends.

Classless Trash

Loud, dogs barking, cars and 4 wheeler, music, drunks, yelling, ALL NIGHT LONG. Never have I been in such a classless campsite. If you stay here after knowing this, you're on your own.

It was quite, lots of wild life but there are no sewer hookups and the bathrooms were filthy.

CDR. US Water Patrol

this was once one of the best campgrounds in the US. However since the KY Dept of Fish & Wildlife took over it is now over regulated to the point that it is very hard to enjoy the stay. The fee and add on charges are to enter the park,campground, trail use, ect makes it expensive. Lastly the staff and park officers are very rude.

Great Value!

Beautiful, forested, and quiet! Stayed here over July 4th weekend. Great fishing, excellent swimming hole. Sites and roads not great for big rigs, say, over 38'. Bath room and shower facilities pretty poor if you need those. Gravel sites pretty level. Asphalt roads need repaving. 50/30 amp and water on site. Fire ring, picnic table. Double dump station with easy access in center of park. No planes, trains, or highway noise! Close to shopping if needed. 30 day stay limit to prevent home steading. Lots of wildlife. Very courteous staff. Camp store for essentials at very reasonable prices. No propane. Tent, buddy sites, and cabin rentals available.
