Super nice campground. Spent two days while exploring Mammoth Cave, national Park. Campsites were easy to back into and pull through. Restrooms needed a little cleaning, but not complaining. Would come back again.

Amazing Campground
Quiet and peaceful campgrounds with plenty of sites on the waters edge. Even the sites that aren't on the waters edge have good views of the water. On site B-18 we are only about 30 ft off the water edge.

$$$$$
I wanted to comment on the new web site from recreation.gov. It is not user friendly at all. I tried to cancel a reservation last year and was never able to get it submitted. I left a message twice on the 800 number were it said they would return my call. Neither call was returned and ended up losing my money. The old site was much better.

Busy Weekends
Make sure you get a reservation before you head this way. On weekends this place is filled to capacity. Popular boat ramp and camping spot. Sites are not very private and close together. Make sure you got everything because the Save-A-Lot in Brownsville is 30 minutes away. Otherwise it is a good location to go visit Mamoth Cave and ride the ferry. Water and Electric on site.
