Close To Attractions
We were on site #16, pull through, very level and there was shade. When we arrived, the Host (very nice) gave us a packet of brochures, Bardstown book, and an event listing. (Which was fantastic). He escorted us to our site. It was very quiet. I did check the ladies room, it is dated but clean. No need to use it if you are in a rig with full hookups. Our AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon worked well. We would stop again if in the area. Happy Travels

Good Park For Our Overnight
Stayed 1 night in 40 ft motorcoach w toad. Owner was very pleasant and helpful even leading us to our site. Made sure to place us so our satellite worked, which it did. Wifi was not great and bc of covid bathhouse was not available, which we weren't using anyway. Owner was very conscious of our safety and his bc of covid wearing a mask at ckin. Site was a little unlevel but easy fix for us. Entry is newly paved and there are some newer sites. Most sites are combination of gravel and grass. Worked good for us for a overnight stop.

Owners are rude, mean and nasty, I simply asked if the bath house was still out of order and got yelled at for using too much toliet paper. Bathhouse is poorly built and rarely cleaned.

Absolutely Don’t Go!
Had a reservation and when we showed up owner (rude) had given our spots away. Not exactly a nice property either (especially at $40 / night). Look elsewhere, don’t waste your time and money!

Park was ok. The ladies bathroom needs a lot of work. No paper towels, no locks, needed cleaning. Not sure why park advisor app has $$ because we got a AAA discount and we were charged $35. Not happy about the price considering the state of the bathroom.

Nice campground, with full hookups. Packed gravel road, with pull thru sites. Older, but nicely maintained. Great host, with great knowledge of the local area. We were in a 33' 5th wheel. We will visit again.

Quiet
Quiet location with access to a great bass fishing lake. Pull-thru sites are long and level. All pads and interior roads are packed gravel. Park is clean, well maintained and has shade from large trees. Turns are adequate for big rigs but be careful at entry from the highway. Plan to swing wide to avoid a culvert. Also if coming from the east on US-62, be ready to turn right into the entry at the top of the hill. Excellent park to stay a few days and visit Bardstown's historic sites. The town library has free WiFi, and nice areas for computer work. The WiFi in the park is weak except next to the office. Overall, this park is good, and the best one in the area. We camped here in a 40' motorcoach. Will return.
