This is not a campground! Do not go there.
No campsite’s available and the roads are not good.

Under Utilized Asset
River Bend Campground has so much potential. But so much needs to be done. The sites are barely discernible due to the weeds and debris from previous flooding. There are old rusted bedsprings, broken pieces of concrete, etc. The pictures on the Facebook page and the camping app are not what the place looks like now. The owners were very friendly and helpful, but they have their work cut out for them if they want to return this place to what the pictures show.

Has Potential
Very nice people. Being its under new ownership, I hope that they are in the process of turning it around as the grounds are in need of TLC. It's a bit over priced ($35/night) for the condition of the park compared to where we stayed at the Johnny Appleseed campground in Ft. Wayne for $22/night. In the current state, we will not come back.

Avoid this place at all cost
I would avoid this place at all cost. We were early campers in the season and we're told by the owner that the showers wouldn't be open until the weekend. However, when we arrived all of the water was off in the bathrooms, and when they were turned on there was raw sewage leaking on the floor from the toilets. The power went out the first night from a bad connection. Also there was flood debris laying all around and it poked my toddler in the face in her stroller when we tried to go for a walk. My husband asked for a refund and the owner readily agreed, but he avoided us for a month, finally writing us a bad check for only part of the amount, which bounced, leaving us in trouble with our bank.
