Nice Campground
We camped here on a busy weekend and were lucky to get a site. The sites are small and tight to get in to. Camp sites are close together.
We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the area. There are many hiking trails, interesting Native American history, and good restaurants with a beautiful lake.

Wonderful Campground!
This campground is very well kept. Facilities are newer. Quiet. Plenty of trails and bike paths to explore. We will be back.

Last Resort
First off, when we called the lady was very helpful and nice. On arrival there is a list of ‘NO’. They only informed you with what you can not do. They where book out. The sites where so small. The trees where so low and not maintained. The camp host was rude. They where strict and loved causing issues. This place was not kids friendly. The population was very old and all in your business. This place had so much potential but lack leadership. There is not many sites near north Indianapolis. We would only go there on a last resort. Also call ahead and book. There wasn’t many sites and people where none stop calling to book it.

Great Little Campground
Love the staff and hosts. There are no strangers when you are there. Very quiet and half the sites back up to the river. There is a nice public park with trails other stuff. Very cheap (25 in county and 30 for visitors) for full hookup with laundry site, free WiFi throughout the park, close enough to town to go eat and enjoy a small rural town that isn’t run down. The park is county owned and ran so they have great up keep of the facilities. To the user that said he couldn’t park his trailer without help from 2 other people, perhaps you need to practice backing up more. I had no problem putting my 28’ trailer in several different spots with no spotters and not having to reposition. Sounds to me like you just can’t handle your rig.

While I agree this is a great area, the sites are difficult to back into. Backing my 30' trailer took several attemps and two guys helping to guide me. One watched the trailer location and the other watched the truck. I could not have done this on my own. Fortunately two spots across the road from me were open which gave me some room to maneuver the, without that I'd not made it. Spots are not angled to the road making backing in even more difficult. Of you have a trailer over 20' and another option take it.

What a find! Nice, clean and well kept township park with all the good stuff. Local town of Cicero is a gem in what I thought was just farm country. Everything is just WOW. I never knew this was here. Cicero has many interesting shops and good restaurants. 20 miles north of Indianapolis. Resort area with marinas and water activities.
