Small city riverfront campground less than a mile from the darling town of Madison, IN downtown. Great location. Sites are small (you likely won’t be able to park your trailer and truck), and *very close together… a few feet apart. Only the riverfront sites have fire pits. The bathhouse is in bad shape, and toilet stalls are so small you’ll have to turn around before you close the door. The dump station is right next to the womens bathrooms, separated by an open concrete block wall. Our electrical post 30 amp had burn marks. Very friendly and helpful campground manager and beautiful location didn’t make up for the shortcomings. If you do stay here, absolutely get a riverfront site as there is much more space for sitting outside.

Nice Campground

Met by camp host who made sure we got situated. Small campground but works well and tucked in right on river. Watched a couple of barges go by while I was setting up trailer. Definitely no road noise here.

Nice Location

We’ve stayed here in the Fall last year and this year. Park location is ideal for sightseeing in the nice little town of Madison and the river is outside your window. Town is a short walk away and park areas lining the river are nice. We stayed here in a 44’ motorhome without any difficulty. The park manager is very friendly and helpful. Cost is less then the nearby state park.

Nice park, priced 30 and 40 a night, manager on site, very helpful and wanting to help you in anyway. Short walk to seafood restaurant and 5 blocks to ice cream shop that rocks.

Nice little park. Sites are narrow,but easy get into. Staff mostly friendly.

Great little park

Clean, friendly, great view of Ohio River. Watch barges and paddle boats on the river. Will go back
