Extended Stay Savannah Ga
of all, Sunshine RV Park is VERY MUCH in business! We stayed here for a month during September 2024. What has happened… the original owner William L. “Bill” Bruner passed June 2022 and now his grandson Michael Bruner is running Sunshine RV Park LLC. We stayed here 20 yrs ago and much has changed and for the better. Sunshine RV Park now has about 70 level concrete RV sites. The RV sites are about 65 ft in length of which 50 ft is poured concrete with a concrete patio. We have a 45ft motorcoach and we fit on our site just fine. All of the sites have 50/30/15 amp electric, water (good tasting/good pressure) and sewer. No problems with electric voltage even in the hot Georgia summertime. And new concrete sites are being added at this time. Lots of area to add more RV sites. Michael is doing a great job as the new owner of Sunshine RV Park. Michael manages the RV park full-time and has help. Someone to cut grass/weed trimming around the RV sites and someone to pick up any trash

We've been here since January of 2016 and love this park. It's quiet, and secure. Police department is right around the corner and Fire department is less than a 1/4 mile down the street. Not a lot of amenities but close enough to stores and downtown Savannah to make up for it. Bill and Annette, the owners are awesome. Bill is getting up there in years but he still makes his rounds everyday ensuring there are no problems in the park. Annette often rides with him in their golf cart with the Sunshine Sheriff's tag and Bill won't hesitate to let you know if your driving to fast in the park. They really are great people. If you're looking for a quiet safe park this is it, rates are reasonable for both long and short term stays.

Good location, quiet and sate. Owners are very nice and helpful. Internet doesn't work and laundry room is nasty. We stayed for a month and there's a public library on the same road. Decent sized lots. We would stay here again. The safety and quiet makes Sunshine perfect for us!

Good Overall
Sunshine RV Park was a decent stop overall. The place is simple. It is outside of Savannah, so walking into town is out if the question. Biking is out too. We took a cab into Savannah, which cost us almost $25. Should gave tried Tuber for transportation instead. It was easy to find. Right off 16 onto Dean Forest Road then onto Sunshine Road. We called ahead. Other parks were packed from Saint Patrick's Day. When we arrived, we had to park in front of the owner's house. The husband was working with someone, so he took care of us too; otherwise, I would have gone up to office on the side if their house. On the way back to a circular drive, we passed some modular homes and entered a back section, lined with trees, RVs, and a laundry and bath house. Obviously, some people live there longer term but are mostly kept up. Our 25' RV fit well but was too far from the septic dump, so we used our tank until we left then dumped. Some loud neighbors and a bit costly to stay at and travel into town.

Just a basic campground but Nice & quiet. We felt safe being right by the police station. Perfect for the quick trip into Savannah, which was why we were there. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Nice and Quiet
We really enjoyed staying here. There are pool or ect. But close enough to downtown Savannah. We used Uber and it was around $10 each way! There are some full timers and weekenders. The owners are great and very helpful. They claim "that this campground is the safety campground in Savannah!" The police station is next door with a police training center next to the police station. We liked it here
