The site was good. Caretaker was super nice. Would be great with more facilities but if you just looking for a launch pad to see Savahna this is good. I actually like the fact there very few sites. Made for a quiet peaceful time

Very good place to stay

we stay in military rv campgrounds when we can. 25 per night. the host, Nathan is great, very friendly. the sites are roomy and shaded. concrete pads and metal picnic tables. Cable tv and full hookups. it's a nice stroll to lotts island where there is a boat ramp, picnic area, recreation facilities, and the river. this is a great place to launch a Savannah excursion.

Full Time Campers

Camp grounds could use a little TLC. FHU for $25.00, spots are shady and have fire rings, concrete picnic pads with tables. Yes there are ants, but who in the south doesn't. Put out some ant killer (once be gone) and no problems. I give it 3 stars only because the camp needs some TLC.
