Beautiful Water Spots
We loved it here! We stayed at 22 and 24... 22 had view of sunrise and sunset... we had a 25’ so would not recommend any bigger and have tire chocks! (Close to water )..
28 and 36 would be great choices as well...our hosts were super friendly. We paid only $10/nite with the state park national pass! We will be back!

The Good, The Bad, And The Locked In
It's a very beautiful lake. I enjoyed that part. But there were some frustrating things. The website for reservations is not great at all. And I stayed in site #9 and it was HORRIBLE to back the trailer into! Seriously, only a professional could do that. It was downhill and on a curve. Also, they lock the gates at 10:00 and you are not allowed out or in! That caused problems for us.

Beautiful well kept campground. Pleasantly surprised at peacefulness (early May, weekend) given proximity to Atlanta. Most sites are water front, but not easily accessible due to elevation above lake. With National Parks Access Pass a steal @ $10/night!

Nice park with great views! Stayed in 17, pic on site does not match. Based on website #17 was suppose to be a two tier lot. It’s was not. But, my spot was jam up with a great view.
