Great Basic Campground

Great little campground. Not a lot of sites and is very basic. But I like basic. The gate closed at 10:30pm so if your late you have to park in the overflow parking area and walk in. I like the idea that it's secure at night. They have showers, laundry, and a pump out. Not a place if you need entertainment in the park. It does have access to the lake. However some of the sites with power and water are on a hill and you need to use the stairs to get to it. Again not a big deal. Our site has a lower area with a picnic table and fire pit. People were very friendly and helpful.

Memorial Day Payne Campground

Clean areas with maintained grass. Only a few water sites with water and power but still nice. Boat ramp on site with beach that was clean and recently leveled sand. Few trash cans on the property but dumpsters are available near the front.
