3 day, 2 night stay mid May 2023. Sites are individually located for max privacy and forest / water views. Locations are well graded and graveled with picnic tables on large pads. The sounds at night are exclusively woodland with occasional boat traffic near the lake. This is a very clean and neat park whose only lack is site drains. There are well maintained dump sites available.

There are several COE campgrounds in the area but this was the only one open this time of year. Still no washing machines available due to Covid. This is a big campground with many sites right on the water. It is a typical COE campground...very well done.

Nice Weekend Getaway
Clean sites mostly on the lake and bathrooms were also nice. A lot of narrow roads and hills. It would have been four stars but the lady at check-in was so annoying with her little green butterfly net that she flaunts to collect your pass at the exit even though you are a registered camper. Overall, nice campground.

Best Campground around Lake Allatoona!
We camp here every chance we get! Very clean bathrooms and super helpful attendance at the entry gate. Sites are clean and so many great stops right on the water!

A Keeper!!
We will definitely be back! This park is well managed and friendly. Fire pit and picnic table provided on a very level spot. I love the smell of the trees and the gentle hills for bike riding. Clean restrooms. A really great camping experience!

I went to the park several weeks ago to check out the Campgrounds. I was met with a very rude man that would not allow me entrance! I called ahead today to ask once again if I could see the campground. The nice lady on the phone said yes. I went this morning and was met by another extremely rude man! He gave me entrance but like he was doing me a big favor. I canceled my reservations I had had for several weeks! I will never waste my time on this campground again! By the way there are two county Campgrounds just up the road from there! They give the same discount that you would receive at the coe with the senior lifetime pass. They are extremely nice there! I recommend them! I star

Beautiful Place
Nice campground on the lake but enterance is not designed to accommodate bigger units (tires rubbed curbs going in and out due to short left-right-left turns past check in). Trees need trimmed for higher rigs and bathroom not very clean. Beautiful lake with alot of boat and jet sky traffic.

What A Huge Park
We chose the park after changing our travel plans and didn't spent the time researching on Google earth. We had a pull through site that was on a quiet loop, but we could have chosen the area around site 110 with water views. I would recommend the park but the many water view sites would be a great option.

Nice For The Weekend
Only reason for 4 stars is no sewage hook ups, however, this is a nice place, convenient to the water and sites are private and well maintained. Easy roads leading to park, nice roadways once inside. Dump station located on the way out near front gate. Good place to relax on the weekend!

Very nice park on the lake. Quiet with sites fairly spread out and private.

Beautiful
The campground itself is absolutely gorgeous especially on the water. Ran into a problem with locking the gates at 10: 30 at night coming back from Stone Mountain laser show. Had to postpone going to the show and catching it on the way back home from Ohio. Even though the lake was absolutely beautiful the staff was very grouchy. If you can avoid the staff by all means do so, but the grounds are beautiful. My rating was lower because of staff.

Great Campground - Par Staff
A great campgrounds with a great location. Campground hosts are notoriously grumpy and unwelcoming (be ready to be greeted with a scowl and a “reading of the rules” upon arrival). Thankfully, the lake and the trees are welcoming enough!

We are from southwest Florida and come here about every 3 months We have kids and grandkids that live in the area. We like this park a lot only bad thing i could say is they lock the gate at night you don’t get back in or out on till morning wish they would put a gate code touchpad to open and close of the gate like the state park does other then that it a great place to stay

Great Campground, Grumpy Staff
This campground is gorgeous and lake Allatoona is great for swimming and boating. The staff is pretty grumpy though. Check out my whole review on my blog. Imaginecamper.com

Clean And Quiet
Nice wooded lots, friendly staff, some premium lakefront lots. Open all year yet half of campground was blocked off when we went in early December, including playground. Lake was low but fun to walk dogs around. Did not use bathhouse. Will definitely visit again.
