Nice overnight stop. Good facilities, level sites, some shade, very friendly staff, and a great price ($40). Some noise from I-70. Going in my keeper file.

First Stop
My husband and I are brand new to RVing and we were happy to spend our first night at Shady Grove. All the hookups were easy to access. Laundry facilities were small, but got the job done. Bathrooms were clean. Dog area was poop free. Quiet neighbors. It’s in a tiny town with dirt roads, but they were easy to drive and free of traffic, so our son was able to ride his bike while we walked the dog. The nearest grocery store is 10 miles west on I70, and they close early, thankfully they also have a dollar general. If passing through the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Shady Grove in Name Only
Only a couple of mature trees, 2 sites, 5 & 6 have afternoon shade. We were hoping for some shade as it is 96° Sites are gravel with grass around the sites, picnic tables and pull thru. This campground is in among older homes in a neighborhood. Streets are not paved so very dusty. $29 for the night with a $5 senior discount. We're just passing through for the night.

Nice And Quiet
Nice clean little park not far off the highway. Was great for a one night stay as we passed thru. Owners are friendly. Sites are gravel and level. It’s a little town with good dirt roads.

Great Hosts
This park is nothing special. It’s poorly laid out and can be somewhat difficult for big rigs. That being said, it still has charm and is clean. The hosts are exceptional and make this park a 4 star. For eastern Colorado, this is one of the best! We will definitely be back.

Charmed
I am with Kim, What is with you people? I have stayed here 3 o r4 times over the last twenty years, usually because I got blown off the interstate by heavy crosswinds. Talking to Joe, he is the third owner since I was last here and I think he has done a fantastic job. True the park is small, but my 40 foot Dutch Star fit just fine. It takes a tough breed to keep and maintain a park year round for wind blown weary travelers. I am thankful for their moxie! Good luck and God Bless! Joe & Lynn Tolson (Not a Robot)!!!

Nice Place To Stay
I don’t know what all the “it’s in a neighborhood and weird” reviews were about but this is a fine place to stay the night. Dinky town off the freeway with level sites, ok showers and the most accommodating hosts I’ve ever dealt with. We had booked a site for Sunday and ended up marooned with camper problems until late in the week, finally made it on Saturday. They were awesome and positive the entire time! Super folks! Nice campground.

This is not a five star by any means
Who in the world is rating this Park the owners maybe. This is a two star if they’re lucky it’s OK for overnight the management is really nice but the park is not by any means a five star.

Shady is a good name for the place- it’s in the middle of a residential neighbor, literally in someone’s yard. The owners were extremely friendly and we even got a military discount. We just felt very uncomfortable with the location of the entire park.

Friendly Host
Great host and location for a one night stay during Covid-19 travels to get home. Quiet, easy to find as it's just a few blocks of I-70. Minimal traffic noise from interstate.

Definitely Recommend!
My husband and I are traveling home during COVID 19 and trying to stay self quarantined. The camp host Debbie was very supportive! We were really only looking for power, but this full hook-up site was so welcoming! We have been full-timing 9 months and this was the FIRST Wi-fi site that we were able to stream! We also ordered wine from Seibert Liquor and explained our staying hitched and she graciously delivered. What a great little town! Would definitely stop again!

Nice Park
Our one night experience was pleasant. The park is clean and obviously cared for. There are some long termers staying here, but the spots were neat and tidy. No digital tv signals available.

Great RV park! Quiet, clean showers/restrooms, handy laundry , all in a small town setting. They DO have great WiFi. (watched the KC Royals on streaming tv) Large grocery store a couple of blocks away for essentials. Owners/operators are exceptionally helpful and friendly!!! Don’t forget to ask for the veteran discount. Had a great 3 day stay.

Super quiet and peaceful. Isn’t much around to walk to (post office and small grocery a few blocks away) but the walk itself is nice. Good stop for folks headed into Denver or higher for some altitude work. 4700 feet here. Highly recommend!

Great Place
We stayed 1 night, just passing thru. The guy who helped us was sooo friendly. Got a full hook up pull thru, nothing fancy, but a great location for us traveling on I 70. The place is clean and tidy. We’ll stop again.

We stayed at this cozy campsite one night on our trip from Minnesota to Arizona. We had called ahead and were very welcome for a one night stay,. We were greeted by a very pleasant young man who was very helpful in getting us settled. I would recommend this campsite very highly, it was all we needed.

Called ahead and was welcomed for a one night stay..... Mark, the camp host is super friendly! As u drive into the small town.... it can b a turnoff, the town looks like it fell off the map. The campground is relatively clean, didn’t use the laundry or restrooms. Would stay again.

Sweet Spot
What a great little campground along Hwy 70 for an overnight or just a place to rest for a bit. We were greeted by the friendly owner at the desk and who helps you settle in. Not big, not fancy but nice, clean and level. We wouldn’t hesitate staying again!

Felt Like Home
This place is perfect for an overnight stay or a couple of days to just recharge and rest from all the driving. The owners are right on property and very welcoming, warm, friendly and genuinely concerned for your comfort. We were escorted to our spot and they even came and checked on us to make sure all was well. Such a wonderful experience. Lovely park!! City park within walking distance, great for your dog to run exercise after being cooped up in an RV all day! Kudos to this lovely young couple! Will recommend to all our RV friends!!

Would Stay Again
Very nice and responsive owners. Nice little farming community. Walked to the grocery store from camp felt very safe. Camp area does surround owners home but was perfect for a night stay for some rest. Did not hear any trains on a Saturday night stay. Wi-Fi was great too. Clean grounds and laundry area if you need it. Very well organized. They will call you back if you leave a message to make reservations. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Shady Grove!

I Don't Understand The Other Reviews
The guy at the counter was very nice and cool. However I don't understand these other reviews. The area this park is in is unsettling and it is like being in someone's backyard. We didn't feel comfortable staying here and I wouldn't recommend it.

Nice And Quiet Off The Highway
Great overnight stop. Easy in and out. Owners were very welcoming. Spaces are large enough you don't see inside your neighbors rig. Extra $3 for 50amp You can walk to everything in town - grocery store, liquor store, post office. Great DVD collection to borrow from and local TV antenna to connect to with your cable line. Quiet area except Trains at night - not sure if every night.

Small Town Hospitality!
The owners graciously welcomed us and helped us with our setup. The place is small and clean. The bathrooms and showers, including availability of washer and dryer, we're all clean. There was even a small library! A good place to stop off of I70.
