Great Location
The RV park is reasonable in price and located within walking distance of old Colorado city street. The old Colorado Springs town great restaurants. Goldfield RV Park is central of visiting all Colorado Springs attractions and local regions. This park has nice but small bath house and laundry building. Everything great and working. A 40 ft motorhome with car had plenty of room. Really enjoyed the park will put in travel folder for future reference.

What Do You Expect
Funny how everyone bashes on this place but for the price it's well worth it. Yes it's crowed. What rv park isn't in CS? A lot of people are making this place their full time residence but for the price and surroundings it's worth it. If you want a 5 star rv park then this isn't it. If you want a place to park and camp and are on a budget then this is it. Seems like the people that are complaining expect a 5 star experience.

To Close To Highway
The reason I rated this RV park 2 stars is because of its location to everything. If you like the sounds of cars riving up, motorcycles, and sirens all day and night than this is the place for you.

Some Good And Some Bad News
The good. Sites are mostly level. Bath house looked new. Friendly receptionist. Full hook ups with cable and wifi. Convenient to Colorado Springs. Clean and organized even if tightly spaced. We had room to put out our slide and walk around our motorhome. Everyone I dealt with, staff and guests was friendly. I didn't feel anything threatening or unsafe. The bad. Looks like a gravel parking lot. Tight spaces. The price seems high for what we got. Lots of noise from the busy road nearby, but it was a bit quieter during the night. It wouldn't be a vacation destination, but it worked for the night. I've stayed in worse RV parks.

Dump
Drove by, what a dump.looks like all be the parks are old and dumpy about 23ft. Wide. Garden of the gods looks to be the best bet. Other than that, do what I did and drive 60mi. To go see things.

Stayed 5 days in August 2018. More like a crowded parking lot than a RV park. Constant traffic noise, as it's against CO 24. I doubt we'd go back unless there was no other place available. Campers next to us set up an outside patio area, with 1/2 of it in our VERY small space. Barely room to put the slider or awning out.

Sardine Camping
Not worth the cheaper price they are asking. Manager is aggressive and rude. They are very stern on no rigs older than 2005. Almost impossible to do anything at night. I’m a night owl and got a complaint from one of the neighbors that I was being loud when in fact I was not. If it wasn’t packed like a sardine there wouldn’t be a problem. The showers are absolutely awful as well as the bathroom. A giant wet mud pit. Only plus is that it’s a block from Old Colorado City. So if you’re only looking for a lot to House your sleeping vessel or a place where you won’t be spending any time in your RV I would suggest here. But if you are looking to relax and spend time outside or even hang around on a lazy day I suggest elsewhere. There are many other parks with better prices and better lots.

RV Hell
Backs up to CO24. Constant highway noise. Full time residents working on cars. MC riders among the residents. Sewer smells. Have no idea why Good Sam allows them. Try Garden of the Gods RV just up the road.

Worst place I've stayed in so far. There wasn't even enough room to put out my awning. Loud Highway noise. I would try one of the other parks in the area next time.
