Nice Campsites In The Woods

Was pleasantly surprised! Wasn't expecting the pine forest at this campground. Very nice campsites. Some can be reserved, some are first come first serve, but all are available if not reserved. Pity they closed the Forests down in AZ for the foreseeable future due to extreme fire risk. We would've been back here soon!

Make Sure You Make A Reservation!

The website says “first come first serve” but they changed that a year ago and now you need a reservation for weekends. It’s a great spot with good hiking! Will definitely come again when in Prescott.

So Close To Town!

Clean campsite, helpful camphost. No showers unfortunately, but clean vault toilets. My tent pad was tucked away with a beautiful view of the forest. Only a few miles into town, very convenient for exploring Prescott.

Well maintained and monitored by hosts. Tent sites were level and bathrooms were clean, good campground

Really nice State Park really nice campsites also nice bathroom and fire pits with grills concrete picnic table really nice place to take the family out camping we stayed for a week and had a blast. One of my favorite camping spots to go camping in Arizona.
