If There’s Nothing Else, Keep Driving!
There were three gunshots at midnight, sounds like it was a shot out right beside us, no sleep! We left the next day. The grass was high and you can tell, most of the people staying there, also lives there full time. It needs to be cleaned up.

On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the best, I'd say this place rates a 2. It's not bad but it's not really good. The sites are small. We have a 38ft 5 th wheel with double deep slides it was a very tight fit both length and width. The site was unlevel and very tricky to get our camper level since the ground is so soft. Granted they've had a lot of rain lately. If you're not into fishing there's nothing to do in the area not the campgrounds fault. There were a lot of campers that looked like they had been there a very long time and were abandoned. Over all the place just had a dumpy feel to it. It was quite and dark so it's great for sleeping.

Not Our thing
We are fairly new to camping and do to the name, I thought it would be near the lake- it’s not. Everything is overgrown and it looks like they have long term residents. There is a pool and they have full hookups, but I know we’ll never book a place here again. Probably good for an overnight desperate stay.

Not so good. Secluded and peaceful. Lots of wild life, alligators and birds.
Campsites and roads, old and full of potholes.
Utilities on the wrong side of our RV.
To expensive for what you get.

Peaceful spot, family owned, nice people, clean facilities. Kayak rental was worth it. A little highway noise didn't drown out the birds and frogs.

Not Bad
Stopped for an over night stay traveling, super nice owner that met us late and showed us to our spot. Spots and roads were mostly dirt, and little to no street lights so very dark. All in all it was a good stay over spot, but not much to see longer term.

Like other review said, nothing fancy here, but after a long drive, friendly folks, hot showers, pet friendly, cable and decent wifi. What more are you looking for 1 night?

Happy travelers
Beautiful sit back off hwy 82 in the tall pine trees. Staff very friendly and helpful. They led us to our campsite. Ask if we needed help sitting up. Very peaceful.

Old Time Campground
Nothing fancy here. RV and tents. Workable but could use maintenance in the bath house, roads, and sites. Hot water showers, clean pool, and shelter. Free wifi is spotty, cable ok. 30 & 50 amp, water, sewer. Dirt pads are flat and semi-shady with tall pines and oaks. Narrow road leads to camp. Staff People are friendly. Sits on finger of large lake. Stayed two nights in 24 ft motorhome.
