Great State Park Camping

Staying for 2 days. Beautiful setting, long hard gravel/paved sites many pull through, quiet, plenty of space between sites. Deer, squirrels, birds. Full hookups and laundry available.

Great Place To Stay

They have different sections with different amenities. We stayed in the area with full hookups, ours was on the correct side. They were listed at backin, but a lot were pull thru. We had a great time, they have a Marina Store, cabins, hotel, and a restaurant. Our site was level and easy access. Campground is gated and you have to have a code to get in. It was very quiet.

Hook Ups Are On The Wrong Side

Why on earth would they have the hook up on the wrong side??? Campground does not drain water well at all. Good shade and spacing between sites. Nice little fire pits. The campground is not maintained well. Shower head missing in one of the stalls. Showers were dingy and dirty.

Nice Place

Aug 6th hot and humid! Level lot, elect on wrong side of rig. Wanted to change site, line was busy/couldn't get through! Only 4 sites used in Clark loop. Would come back! 5Star if had a waterfront site.

Secluded and peaceful. Lots of wildlife and warning signs to swim at your own risk (alligators). Hook up are on the wrong side of our motor home.

Nice Weekend

We visited the area in late March and stayed at a campsite on the water. Very quiet. We did see alligators, ducks and other wildlife which we enjoyed. Bathhouse was dated but clean. We would stay again.

Great Place

Sites where paved and big. There were Canadian geese and deer roaming around the campground. Very quite.

Great campground!

All the sites are level and paved. Bath houses are very clean and climate controlled. The fish cleaning stations are a real plus.
